Absolutely brilliant. Thousands of km from home and the battery died. These fellas fit me in with very short notice on a Friday afternoon to fix me up. Very quick turnaround, very friendly staff. Honestly, really recommended!

Update: Thanks for the long winded response.

Our car has been certified roadworthy today by a reputable mechanic in Warrnambool.

The mechanic advised that to replace all four tyres would be pointless and a waste of our money.

This sort of behaviour is what gets mechanics a bad name.

Disgraceful.

Original post: Sent our car here for a roadworthy and was advised we needed 4 new tyres to obtain the certificate.

I questioned this, given our current tyres have done less than 15,000kms and are less than 6 months old.

Took the car to two other mechanics in Warrnambool, who both advised the tyres are in suitable condition to be roadworthy.

Confirming my gut feeling to question the advice.

Called the dealership multiple times to speak with the manager, with no response.

In addition to this circus, upon completing the inspection of the car, the child seats were not refitted and when asked about this, the employee spoken to was dismissive, as if he had better things to do.

It should've been around $350 in and out but with the recommended tyres, it takes the total to nearer $1200.

The dealership was extremely prompt with the quote.

Travelling through and dropping in for a very simple anderson plug fix and they were more than happy to assist (also happy to look at another issue to ease our stress before we headed on with our adventure) They were extremely friendly and helpful and would highly recommend them

Me and my Toddler hit a large Rock Wallaby unfortunately and I was worried about the damage to my car and our safety , the team checked to make sure there wasn't serious damage to the radiator and all seemed good ,they went above and beyond to help us . Came into the workshop with a damaged tire. And within 20 minutes we had it fixed, allowing us to continue enjoying our trip around our lovely Aussie country. Thank you to the folks at the workshop, they were quick to respond and provided a quality service!

Had a great experience at timboon motors buying a new car for my family. Great communication during the quick process. Highly recommend if you’re looking to buy or sell a car.

My pregnant wife and I found ourselves stuck a long way from home on the 3/1/24 when the starter motor in our trusty old Hilux packed it in.

Thankfully, NRMA Roadside assistance put us in the good hands of Timboon Motors. Josh, the workshop manager/mobile mechanic assessed our car, organised a tow to their workshop, ordered parts and put our minds at ease that the car would be back on the road in a timely manner. To our delight the Hilux was repaired and ready for collection less than 12hrs later.

I was very impressed to receive such good service, particularly given that it was so early in the new year and we were out of our home state. Josh was a gentleman to deal with and Timboon Motors charged a fair price for their work.
