We went on Saturday night before a 7:30 show. Were told to book for 5:30, ended up receiving our food at 6:27. Waited 37 minutes for drinks to arrive via the app. I observed 7 floor staff and a customer crowd of less than one hundred. Cannot for the life of me understand why our drinks and meals took so long. Food average at best. After waiting over half an hour a staff member came to tell us 2 of the meals we ordered were unavailable - this on top of the SEVERAL menu items not available when we initially ordered. Such a simple menu should have more than adequate inventory on hand to cater to mid- to large-sized crowd. The small crowd, mostly near the footy/TAB/bar area could not possibly have accounted for huge orders of meals to explain the lack of availability. Poorly organised, poorly-run, attractive-looking, disappointing place. A classic example of style over substance - looks good but you don't want to eat here ..

Ordered drinks. X 3 Lemon, lime and bitters. Twice we took them back. First time hardly any bitters, no sweetness and no bubble. Second time looked good tasted like soda
water. Bar attendant said it looks good, I said it’s not sweet just like soda water. I said maybe something a wrong with taps etc. He throws them in the sink and says he’ll make some more. See him tasting one. Finally get 3 x better lime and bitters! Then food. Ordered a platter and 1 bowl of chips also tacos. Came out just warm x3 meals. Had to take it back waited another 30 minutes til we finally got some hot food. No apologies when delivered. Not once were we offered money back or even out drinks free. Probably won’t be back anytime soon

We were here for a wake this afternoon and got kicked out at 7:30pm as we were "disturbing other guests". We were in the outside area and the other two people outside didn't mind as we weren't that noisy. We were told that it was also because one of the girls smacked the table but it was because there was a giant bushtail possum walking around outside in the outdoor dining area and she was surprised! Apparently it's a regular occurrence, not sure how sanitary that is. Not impressed at the way we were treated. Of course they waited until everyone spent money ordering dinner before they kicked us out, typical money grabbing management. We were not noisy at all, the noise inside the venue was louder from having the footy on.

Service beyond appalling!

We booked in a month advanced for a family lunch for my daughter’s first birthday. We booked a table for 15 people.

When we arrived the person behind the bar just said yup your on table number 3&4. I had to ask where those tables were as it was pointed out.

I asked if they had high chairs available to which the staff said they would bring one over… but never did.

Service was non existent with no one coming to the table to explain where or how to order, no water offered for the table… when I went up and asked for water I was only given 2 bottles for 15 people.

The food was hit and miss with somethings being good and others down right awful! The arancini was bland and claggy with no flavour and the slow cooked pulled pork was sooooo dry and hard to eat.

We also asked for some side plates for the birthday cake, and multiple plates in the stack they gave us were absolutely covered in food! Like had not been washed at all! Disgusting!

The atmosphere is great, but the food and service could be a lot better. We waited over an hour for average food served by grumpy staff. Some of our tables food came out cold and the pizza was soggy. I really want these guys to be better as it's a beautiful space, but it was a disappointing experience.

Great bar restaurant. Food is a little pricey for what it is but still good quality. MUCH better atmosphere than the other end at the terrible bistro! Staff are friendly although it doesn't feel very well run - booked a table and they'd seated other people at ours. They tried to seat us where the TV and sports stuff was happening so we had to wait instead for the couple to finish eating. Then it wasn't clear if they brought menus or not as they have the QR codes. Just felt a bit disorganised. Friendly staff though.

Beautiful looking place, unfortunately the food and service dont live up to the expectations. 2 times in and both times the food order has not been printed and nearly an hour to get food after checking what is happening. Free drinks offered and second time was not followed up. Beef brisket was both tough and dry, not what brisket is supposed to be like at all. Really want to like this place as we live very close but just average in every sense of the word.
