Our experience at The Wool Mill was nothing short of magical. This was the first wedding venue we visited and from the moment we walked in, we knew it would be hard to beat.
The venue is an open canvas and allows you to put your own twist on the styling and vibe for your wedding!
The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. They made planning so much easier with their expert guidance and attention to detail. From the ceremony to the reception, everything was executed seamlessly. Tayra was amazing on our wedding day and the months leading up to our wedding 🤩
Our guests loved the industrial feel to the venue and loved the story behind how it was an old Wool Mill factory.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and would do everything here all over again 🤍

We were so lucky to book the Wool Mill after a previous location cancelled on us. From our first interaction with Nudo Events and The Wool Mill we knew we were in safe hands. The team swept into provide us as much support as possible to shift our plans and arrange our day. My husband and I live interstate so the venue hosted my parents to check the place out.
The Wool Mill was an excellent location for our wedding, a beautiful space that really comes to life with your own touches. The venue has three separate spaces, the ceremony area, cocktail area and the feasting hall. Each part of the venue is large, spacious and bright. Our guests loved being able to move between the spaces at different times in the night, either for a more quiet sit down or to join the dance floor.
Unfortunately, as many couples do on their wedding day, we didn’t get much of an opportunity to enjoy the dinner. The venue however hosted an exclusive tasting dinner prior to the wedding where my husband and I got to taste all they had to offer and decide on the menu. It was such a special treat to get us excited about the wedding and gave us a chance to taste the delicious food and yummy drinks and to know what our guests will get to enjoy! Everyone raved about the quality of the food!
The support from the whole team, in particular Tia who held our hand the whole way, and Abbey who supported us on the day - was exceptional. The team are all super friendly and fun people. No query was too annoying and nothing was too hard. All of our guests commented on what legends the staff were at the wedding! On the wedding night Abbey made sure we had a whole cheese board and nibbles placed in our bridal suite, just so we could have a bite to eat when we found a moment to ourselves. We think this demonstrates the genuine effort and care the team has for the couple and how they go out of their way to make you feel special.
The planning process was so easy with Tia. She made sure we kept on track with planning, had lots of recommendations for vendors or other things, and was ultimate hype woman for us leading up to the event.
We had an absolute ball of a night! We hope we don’t get married again but if we do, it will 100% be at the Wool Mill again!

As a wedding photographer, this is a Melbourne inner city gem for a wedding venue!
I love the industrial feel of the venue, with it's high ceilings and exposed brick makes a great blank canvas for every couple to put their unique touch to their wedding.
Can't wait to photograph at The Wool Mill again!

No words to explain how amazing our experience with the team at Wool Mill was for our wedding - from the Goodsmiths to Anatomy of Flowers and all of their suppliers, the way they made our planning an absolute breeze was second to none. They outdid themselves on the event planning, styling and food/drinks - could not recommend them enough! Thank you so much to Jasmine, Maddi, Shae, Dave and Silvia!! XXX

We had our wedding on 10 November 2023, and it looked absolutely gorgeous! We fell in love with the venue due to its blank canvas style, where anything from minimalistic to over the top style decor would have suited it.
On the night we had so many comments on how stunning the venue is and that more people need to know about it (including from our cake maker who sees allllllll of the venues across Victoria).
There are also nearby places where there is a nature element for those who would like to feature a contrast to the industrial look of the venue. You get the best of both worlds!
I love that it’s very typical Melbourne hole-in-the-wall being down a lovely laneway, and the festoon lights are beautiful!
The best part of the venue is the ‘secret’ speakeasy bar, which is also very Melbourne-esque. Everyone absolutely loved it!
The staff were amazing, everything ran smoothly and I am so glad we had our wedding here, what a gorgeous venue!

Went to a wedding here on Saturday just gone. The two coordinators on the day were lovely, professional and accommodating. The setup on the day was a breeze and the venue did all they could to assist so the night went ahead with no delays or problems. Easily one of the better venues I have attended and worked with.

We had a winter wedding at The Wool Mill and it was perfect!!!
We had 150 guests for our ceremony and a sit down dinner provided by Refresh Hospitality (which was delicious).
As it was in July, it was a cold and rainy day but that did not matter as everything in the Wool Mill was indoors. The heating was on and the venue stayed warm all night. We even took refuge there before the ceremony for photos indoors as it was raining.
We had an on the day coordinator, Jemma who was an absolute star. She kept us running to schedule and kept us calm when we were getting overwhelmed in the excitement of the day.
All the finest details were covered and all the styling items and extra drinks we brought were sent home with us. We are so grateful on how easy and stress free the day was.
Also the Wool Mill provides security in their package so we had a security guard on the night and our wishing well was locked up after the ceremony for extra safety.
The venue itself was clean, neat and spacious to comfortably fit all our guests. We had an epic dance floor too that was raging all night.
We highly recommend this venue and the Nudo team as a wedding or event space. They had so many resources for us to choose from to dress up the venue and put on a great even such as a celebrant and florist. They were also happy for us to bring our own vendors of choice on board for the day such as our DJ and photographer.
If you book the Wool Mill and the Nudo team you are guaranteed an easy, smooth and fabulous event!

It's a really beautiful venue. Attended for the ASCA nationals. It was very suited for the competition events with a balcony overlooking the performances and competition events.
It was a big space, I was surprised. It was very light and good for photography etc.
I heard it's a wedding venue. Either way, the staff, ASCA, the volunteers, etc, all did a great job.
