My daughter has been attending this school since she was 2 years old, now 11 she will be starting there fulltime next year.
What makes this dance school stand out from the others is it exceptional blend of rigorous training and individualized attention. Mr. Angus, Ms. Lucinda and all the staff are deeply committed to each child's success. My granddaughters attend preschool ballet and Hip Hop classes at A&L. We could not be more thrilled with the level of engagement in classes, the exceptional teachers and the wonderful warm and welcoming environment. Miss Rebecca and Mr Xander give individual attention to each child and work at the child’s pace, encouraging every improvement. An incredible and inspiring place for children to learn, express creativity and have great fun. My grandies LOVE thier sessions. Highly recommend.

My 11 year old daughter is a part time student at A&L and absolutely loves it. Having many years experience as professional dancers themselves as well as a vast knowledge in dance, Angus and Lucinda have created a highly professional dance school that is committed to the discipline of dance. Each student is given individual attention to be the best dancer they can be. Without a doubt the best dance school in the Southern Highlands !!

We can highly recommend Angus and Lucinda's Academy De Danse.
Our daughter joined the A&L family, full time course, at the beginning of last year, she was 16yrs old, and had to move interstate, away from family and friends.
With the support of all involved in the dance school, teachers, supporting families and friends she has made, we have watched our daughters abilities grow immensely as a dancer and as an individual.
We could not be more proud of the very special and beautiful
young lady/dancer she has become.

Yoga on Friday mornings with Leticia gets the weekend off to a good start, especially sharing it with a friend. Coffee afterwards helps as well. The ballet space lends itself to yoga with plenty of room to stretch out and a mirror in front to check whether you are doing the exercises correctly.
Leticia is a patient instructor and makes allowances for the different ability levels of the participants. I appreciate the encouragement she gives and the relaxing wind-down we are treated to at the end of the session.
Mats and straps are provided. A herbal infusion is provided at the conclusion of the session.

Professional dance school able to take each individual's needs and direction into consideration and consistently raising the bar to achieve the best that the kids can do. Holistic inclusive learning from language, anatomy to nutrition with reliable classes and well coordinated Soirees and end of year concerts. A wonderful base to start your career as a dancer.
