Fantastic experience dealing with Lottie & the team at Wellington Entertainment Group. Booked the Pow Wow Room for our daughter’s 21st - was perfect! Minimal decorating required as room has fairy lights all over ceiling plus big coloured lights to suit the theme. Great to be able to bring in/have delivered own food. No problem going in early to set up plus leave stuff to collect next day. Hired the Mirror Photo Booth, such a good idea, lots of fun on the night & have the photos to keep as a memory. Bar staff Luke & Emma very friendly & chilled.
Highly recommend this venue!

I had my 21st birthday at Sugar Woods (their newest venue), and it was amazing. The process of sorting it was super easy with the help of Lottie and the general manager, Cody, who was also amazing. Cody and Enya were both working at the bar and were incredibly nice to us, the guests, and accommodating and chatty throughout the whole night! 100% would recommend choosing one of their venues for an event. We also hired the mirror-me photo booth, and it was great. It's a great way for everyone to capture memories and have fun instead of walking around and taking photos of everyone. Sugarwoods is newly renovated and has an amazing layout with an even cooler deck that captures the sun! so nice in summer and is also really cool at night when lights are dimmed and the room turns red. Drinks are super cheap and was able to bring in our own food for the guests.

I used The Wellington Entertainment Group to book The Pow Wow Room and Mirror Me Booth for my son's 21st. I was so impressed with everything. From the time I booked through to the end of the party, Nik and Zac looked after us so well. It really was the perfect experience and so easy. Their communication was outstanding, emailing and ringing throughout the process. Every question I had, they answered promptly and offered suggestions to help with the party. I felt very reassured leading up to the night.
The Pow Wow Room was the perfect venue for a 21st - a good size, with lighting, Ipad to play music (or DJ booth if you need it), screen for slideshow, plus microphone available. You can bring your own food, use caterers, or order bar food from Dakota Bar downstairs, which helps if you're trying to keep costs down. The staff were amazing, especially George, the manager, who was one step ahead of everything all evening. Nothing was too much trouble for him. A real asset to The Pow Wow Room.
The Mirror Me Booth was fantastic as well, and very popular with everyone. I liked that the photos that were printed at 6x4 size which some photo booths don't do.
I would definitely recommend The Wellington Entertainment Group for a stress-free experience.

If you are looking for a top notch venue where you & all your guests are treated like VIPs every step of the way - don't go past the Wellington Entertainment group & Sugarwoods. We could not have asked for a better venue for our daughters 21st at Sugarwoods. Cody, Enya and Lottie looked after us so well - nothing was a problem for them, each of them went above & beyond to make it a stress free super fun event for us & all of our guests. The venue is amazing no decorations required, flawless sound system & the drinks really fairly priced, BYO food & the Mirror Me photo booth is worth every cent!! Basking in the sun for a January event on their fantastic balcony is fantastic. We won't hesitate to book another event with these highly experienced legends.

A huge thank you for putting on such an awesome casino experience for my party. The croupiers were fun and engaging. Ive had so many positive comments about how good the night was. Everything was so easy to book and organize with this company. Highly recommend these guys.

I had recently used this venue to host a 21st function which turned out to be the most perfect fit. From venue size to hospitality and everything in between, The Powwow Room is definitely deserving of a 5 star rating. We were served by Emma and Luke on the night who were the best bartenders to supervise such a crazy turnout. They handled everything very professionally and in the nicest way, even when my guests had a bit too much fun. They were swift, kept the night flowing with drinks and good vibes, were on demand with anything that went wrong or that needed to be dealt with/changed and so much more. Prior to the night we engaged with the other crew members of the Powwow Room who were just as lovely. They made the organisation of the function very easy for us and the prices were extremely cheap, not to mention they had the perfect amount of facilities for us to use. Overall I enjoyed my time at this venue and would definitely recommend/use for future events. Thank you so much to those we had met, you definitely made my night one to remember and honourable mentions to Emma and Luke, for making me the best mocktails. You guys are the best!!

We had the casino night for our Christmas function. Roulette & black jack. The staff were great! Helped explained the rules, and mixed the games up to make them more interesting (little side bets!). Thanks for a fun night.
