Booked the executive apartment for 3 nights. Check in was pleasant, staff were friendly and informative. Unfortunately the apartment did not really live up to its name, it was very dated and not very comfortable. Most of the furniture felt flimsy and the beds were very lumpy. The TV was outdated so there was no way to access any online streaming in the evenings. The kitchen had basic kitchenware, however, there is a note that states to clean your own dishes otherwise a $50 cleaning fee is applied. This is understandable but resulted in many dishes being dirty from previous guests. The bathroom has been modernised compared to the rest of the room, however there was water damage to the cabinets and there is major flooding issues due to a poor shower design and improper drainage, (towels had to be used to mop up the pool of water on the floor). Although there is plenty of parking, this hotel has access from the Main Street as well as the rear alleyway, and there are no security gates, it is open on each side. Each night there were multiple locals wandering through the hotel, looking into the room as well as people’s vehicles. On one of the evenings a man tried to take personal items from us as we walked back to our room, I was also watched getting out of my car and walking back to my room. It was very uncomfortable and did not feel like a safe place to stay, especially with a 10 year old child. We also did not receive any housekeeping during our stay, except for at 8:30am on the day of checkout when a staff member walked in when I was sleeping (there were no do not disturb signs provided). Upon seeing me the staff member stated that check out was at 10am which I told her I was aware and informed her that it was only 8:30am. She left and I felt I had to pack up my stuff and leave. There is a $100 deposit required at check in, which was not stated on the booking, it comes out of our bank straight away, however, it of course takes 3-5 business days to return.

Accommodation is tight in Kalgoorlie so it is no wonder this type of place are supplying cabin like rooms which are pretty basic. They don't even supply a drinking glass but the bed was comfy enough which is important, as is cleanliness. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner which I don't mind, but very camp like. If you need a beer, the pub is only steps away

We booked for 2 adults and 4 kids, when we arrived we were told our fold out bed wasn't made because we didn't tell them we needed it.... if we book for 6 people we expect 6 sleeping places to be made up.
When we got in to our room, the main bed was not made and the room and not been cleaned prior, so we were moved rooms. All beds were made and room appeared clean but after looking under a bed for a lost shoe, we found someone else's old sock and food rubbish with crumbs all under the bed.

The room also only slept 5 not 6 that we booked for so were left sleeping uncomfortable for 2 night as we had to cram everyone in.

We were not supplied with enough towels and when we asked reception for more, the guy questioned why I needed more than 2 towels, I told him we booked for 6 and required ad many towel, he then proceeded to check my booking and rolled his eyes before handing me the extra towels we required.

The lady at reception on arrival and departure was lovely and accommodating but the gentleman on the late shift was not as nice and not at all friendly.

This place is rated 4 stars but for how small our room was and the lack of cleanliness and presentation i would definitely have to disagree.

Unfortunately we will not be visiting again.

It's okay. The rooms are big and sleep plenty. Beds are comfortable. It's in close proximity to a heap of eateries||||The air conditioner units are mounted on the tin roof and shake the place to death during the night. That is the main problem where I stayed. Was the room next door.

Rooms are very tired. Extremely noisy after 5am with heavy road traffic.
Rooms not serviced over the weekend. Beware the fine print quoted rates are for single occupancy only once you add a second person rates can be as high as 344 per night. Too expensive for quality of room. Better units around town at much more competitive rates. Ta ta can't stay there again.

Upon arrival staff were friendly and helpful, which is largely where the positive experience ended. The room was stuffy and dated, but functional. Very noisy location - heavy truck traffic makes for interesting early mornings, as well as the slamming of surrounding doors and sounds of showers and yelling at 4am from the FIFO workers. Spoke to reception on day two, enquiring as to the “streaming services” listed on both the booking site and their own website as available to our room, only to be told by the manager hiding in the office that “you get what’s there” - which was nothing. The thick black dust on the extraction fan in the bathroom and dead insects in the ceiling light should point to the level of care applied by staff to this facility. Had to approach reception on day 3 for fresh towels, as housekeeping had not serviced the room. On day four, after a disappointing conversation with reception, our room was serviced, then ignored for the next three days. One of the laundry facilities was out of order, and the second facility was disgusting - half the machines were out of order, the floor was strewn with rubbish and the ceiling thick with black cobwebs and PowerPoints so dusty I’m surprised they didn’t start a fire. The much lauded bbq area was filthy, with practically mouldy food on the hot plate - not to mention the water fountain in this “relaxing” area was green and stagnant. I’ve stayed in caravan parks better maintained and serviced than this “four star” hotel. No brochures or information about the facility were available for guests in the rooms. Once we returned to Melbourne we were charged an extra $30 credit card surcharge that was not explained to us when booking or upon arrival. The staff member we spoke to - Maddy - was rather abrupt on the phone with these concerns and responded to our concerns with “well, we have 128 rooms, you can’t expect them all to be serviced everyday!” Actually, for a four star hotel, yes you can! Ultimately, if you want a location close to town, and a bed to sleep on, it will meet your needs. If you’re actually expecting four star accomodation - look elsewhere.

We booked a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment and we were extremely happy with the hotel / motel. There was a tv in each bedroom, and also one in the lounge area - would like to have had more choices on what to watch on the tv, a lot of adds and more sport that we cared for, so maybe a couple of free to air movie stations, as you have foxtel sport. The shower was great and the beds comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights 5 days. It was a quiet location as mainly used by fly in fly out guys and girls. We ate at the buffet restaurant for 3 nights and the food was fantastic, good variety and plentiful. Close to Woolworths, so was able to go and buy milk, etc and wine (a perfect must). Staff were very friendly and yes we will be back again. Thank you
