This is an awesome wee town, bustling with activities and one of the best butcher shops in NSW! Butcher can be seen in the Union 5pm Friday! His meat is served in the Union.

Stopped here for lunch with my missus and son on a Saturday, lovely feel to this place, loved the decor in the main bar. Lunch was quite nice, the menu was quite large with a few specials noted on their specials board too, I ended up ordering the beef and Mushroom pie with bacon mash, it was nice but not very chunky inside. The missus and son both ordered the cheese burger and chips, though when they arrived they found a large slice of pineapple inside, pineapple on a cheese burger? Nothing in the menu mentioned that either, they discarded it as neither like pineapple.
Wait time was a little long too sadly, nearly 1/2 an hour for garlic bread and another 15 mins for mains. They wer'nt super busy at the time either. Prices were pretty much bang on average for pub cuisine.

Great atmosphere, great Aussie pub.
I came here with my 2 sons after sojourning down from Selwyn.
Great steak. 🥩. Awesome chicken🍗 parmigiana. The bush version.
Chunky chips. And the pepper gravy. I don't think I've had a pepper gravy with such piquancy. I always order Pepper gravy and have had it from many pubs. This one was a stand out.

Stayed for two nights, had a fantastic time. The pub is lovely and the manager Adam is friendly, very welcoming and really makes this pub the place to be. Great atmosphere, rooms were warm, clean and comfortable. Would stay again!

RSA nightmare, Staff swearing at customers claiming she has a hangover, very unprofessional and shouldn't be serving alcohol in that state.
Food wise was disgraceful, told can only have what is on the specials board which was then changed, only had three options.
Had steak Sandwich, disgusting.
Can clearly see why the takeaway and IGA was so busy and this place wasn't.

Staff are friendly, welcoming & helpful.
The food is ok, the mash didn’t taste as fresh as it could be & the veggies were under steamed / boiled so was quite hard.
Schnitzel itself was ok, garlic bread & the cheesy variant were probably the highlight of my groups meal order.
