This was excellent, we had an amazing time! We booked the "Cheapest Combo Deal - Tour Code 559" tour to Kuranda via Skyrail and return by train. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the tour organisation was spotless including pick up and drop off directly from our accommodation. We went for the longest free time possible in Kuranda with 5 hours and it was the perfect duration to check the different attractions. I feel like this tour is a must see around Cairns and I can't recommend it enough!

Had a Fitzroy Island cruise booked but got cancelled last minute due to an urgent mechanical issue. These things can happen and i guess luck wasn't on my side that day. The text message (which was incomplete) i received said it was cancelled for the day but when i went to the terminal they said it was only delayed. The lady at the counter was really helpful and rebooked me for a different island tour to Green Island without any extra costs (the island was okay). Props to her for dealing with the situation well. Unfortunately didn't get to see Fitzroy Island on my short trip to Cairns but definitely will be going back!

Amazing day on the reef. After the kids are back in school (Feb) is a great time as there are few crowds or lines. You can do all the things and this company had the widest range of activities, including the Scooba Doo I wanted to try so badly. (It wasn’t as cool as I hoped, but that’s just an opinion, not due to the company or staff). I was the only one in my time slot, and then there were only 2 of us who did a Discover Diving intro dive. It was fantastic, and they communicated well too.

Excellent experience of the Great Barrier Reef. Enjoyed ourselves on a 1-day trip out to the floating platform. There is a variety of activities for swimmers and non-swimmers alike and safety was a good point of this operator. Lunch was excellent, and crew was very attentive to our "trying not to fall seasick" and one of them gave me an ice-cube to suck on... Threw up eventually when the ferry reached the floating platform haha. Pricey but would recommend.

Visited Cairns in June 2023. Before getting there though I wanted to have everything planned in regard to accommodation and tours.
Accommodation was sorted by me and after looking through a few tour operators, I booked the 'Kuranda Train and Skyrail tour' and the 'Reef and Rainforest tour' through The Tour Specialists. I contacted them by phone to ensure that I got the dates that I wanted and the person on the other end of the line was extremely helpful and very accommodating.
Both tours were great and I was very happy that I chose the tours that I did. The Reef and Rainforest is a 2 day tour which meant that I could split it over different days rather than consecutive days. That suited my plans down to the ground. Nothing was too difficult.
All my dealings with The Tour Specialists were great and I can't fault the service. I will be using them again when I am next up in the Cairns area.

In researching a trip to PORT DOUGLAS and the Daintree for extended family, including one family member who is confined to a wheelchair, I discovered some great info from The Tour Specialists about accessible travel in the area. I booked an accessible snorkel trip to the outer reef through The Tour Specialists, and their team was great about answering my questions and providing tips about other accessible adventures in the area. The helicopter ride over the Great Barrier Reef was amazing with an excellent and knowledgeable pilot. Our flight was delayed from morning until the afternoon and they gave us coupons for free coffee/ice cream to use while we relaxed and waited.

This organization provided us with a wonderful experience! Starting with the reservation desk, they were very helpful. The staff on the boat was courteous and went out of their way to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves and were safe. There was no skimping on the food either. It was an enjoyable day and we saw lots of underwater sea life.
