This venue is what it is meant to be. Good food game watching, ribs and a variety of classic food, parmas etc, vegetarian options I had the vego bowl amazing flavours. Service was a little slow but food was great!

Underwhelming experience. Service was inconsistent. One guy at least showed enthusiasm and keenness, he was personable and the others probably didn't want to be there..(I get it, it was New Year's Eve🥳).
Our table was dirty and sticky.
The food was okay. Loved the ribs and chicken wings😋😋
I do like the outdoor area at the front where kids can run around.

Good food and good price, especially when it is on offer. Today tried porterhouse beef steak. I asked for well done. Should had asked for medium rare, which will taste even smoother and juicier. The porterhouse steak at The Sporting Globe is a thick, juicy cut, perfectly grilled to achieve a charred crust while remaining tender and flavorful inside. It boasts a rich, beefy taste with a satisfying marbling that enhances its juiciness. It’s served with a side of crispy fries and a fresh salad, it makes for a hearty meal that’s sure to satisfy any steak lover like me.

I visited The Sporting Globe Bar and Grill again on Monday for their pork ribs promotion, and I was impressed. The pork ribs are truly the standout dish at this restaurant. Slow-cooked to perfection, the ribs feature tender, fall-off-the-bone meat thanks to the breakdown of connective tissue and collagen. They’re generously coated in a flavorful barbecue sauce, offering a delicious balance of sweet and smoky notes.

On this visit, I found the baby ribs to have the ideal texture, though my friend preferred an even softer, fall-off-the-bone sensation—it’s all about personal preference. Accompanied by sides like coleslaw and fries, the meal is hearty and satisfying, perfectly complementing the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant.

Charge $17.50 for a pint and have TWO staff on the floor on Easter Monday. Utterly disgraceful. Happy to charge public holiday prices, yet not provide any service or more importantly, support your bloody staff. Not good enough.

Partner and I ordered the surf and turf which was cooked perfectly and the gravy was amazing. Kids had nuggets and a burger which all godly finish.

Our server Jemma was super polite and helped us when one of the kids broke a plate and was always close when we needed something. Definitely coming back and not just for the cheap drinks

Went to The Sporting Globe in Plenty Valley and honestly had a pretty rubbish experience.

I ordered the Grand Slam burger, which sounded great on the menu, but when it came out, it was missing half the stuff it was supposed to have. Felt like a totally different burger to what was advertised. My partner got the chicken parma, and it came out a bit cold—not even warm in the middle.

When we mentioned it to one of the waitresses, she rolled her eyes at us. No apology, no offer to fix it, nothing. Another staff member had a really bad attitude too—just seemed like they didn’t want to be there or deal with customers at all.

The floor was filthy too—food, napkins and bits of rubbish everywhere. It honestly looked like no one had bothered to clean up for ages.

I get that places get busy, but basic service and cleanliness should still be a priority. The staff were rude, the food wasn’t right, and the whole vibe just felt off.

Plenty of other places nearby that do a better job. Won’t be back here again.

Food was delicious as always. Great, family friendly deals. Only cost $80 for the 4 of us. Ben was great as were all the other young servers. Everyone there is awesome. Must have a good culture of training staff, have never had a bad experience. Fun times!

Had a great night at Sporting Globe, Plenty Valley. Large selection of food. Very happy with our 1kg meat dish (ribs, wings, chips and a slaw). Plenty for two to share. Even had a wine, cider and dessert. Daniel provided excellent service and the live music gave the venue an awesome vibe. Heaps of sports on screens all around, everywhere we looked. Top night. We'll be back again. Thanks.
