We had the most magical night. We wouldn’t change a single thing. The Shearing Shed is the most beautiful, picturesque venue and we are so lucky to have been married there.

We had so many compliments on the venue, the food and the staff.

Along the whole journey you have all been such a delight to plan with. You made it so easy and stress free.

We cannot thank you enough for helping us make our dream wedding come true.

We had our wedding back in November 2024, Abbie and the team were amazing! From the day we booked our venue tour, to when we picked up a few things the day after our wedding, ,we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day and more organized group of people to host our day. Everything ran smoothly. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the food is amazing! Most if not all of our guests have commented on how much fun, how smooth and organized the day ran and how good the food was. We couldn’t recommend the team at the Shearing Shed more!

My daughter's wedding was very professionally managed by Abbie at the Shearing Shed from beginning to end. The venue is a perfect mix of formal yet relaxed and laid back. The Food was Excellent!! The service was very courteous, warm and friendly and the ceremony and reception were seamlessly handled. Everyone raved about the food and how there was plenty of it. Wow, the team here were absolutely incredible and SO beautiful to work with. On the day coordination is so important to having your wedding run smoothly and I am confident in saying that the team at The Shearing Shed did one of the most incredible jobs I have had the pleasure of working with.

All of the epic details from the wedding I photographed from the smokey moody dance floor, the sparkler exit, styling and so on were because of their amazing attention to detail. I'll be recommending this venue to anyone I know getting married in Melbourne and I cannot wait to work there again in the future.

The Shearing Shed offers such character filled, stunning, rustic vibes and with their beautiful staff who really exude such warmth and hospitality it’s hard to go past this gorgeous venue for a wedding! The food was top notch too- we absolutely loved being wedding guests at this very well run establishment! Highly recommend!

The Shearing Shed is absolutely incredible!
We only looked at one venue for our wedding and fell inlove with The Shearing Shed! What I really love about the venue itself is that you can mould it into anything you like! Before we saw the venue in person I was worried that it would be too “rustic” for the vibe we were going for but once we saw the ceremony and reception areas I was able to see how we could transform it into the alternative wonderland our wedding theme was.
All of the staff were so kind and helpful and nothing was too much, I’m sure I asked way more questions than the average bride but all of the staff were so patient with me. My husband is in the SES and he had arranged for the Phillip Island rescue truck to take him to the shearing shed and the staff were so accommodating and had no problems at all, and we are so greatful for your support on the at as it truely meant so much to him.
The shearing shed also supply an incredible list of vendors and it truly took the work out of finding good vendors on our own. (Seriously, trust their list). We booked all of our vendors from their list and we got so many compliments of music, to the flowers to the photographer.
I would give more than 5 stars if I could.
This venue and the team are truly exceptional. We had no idea what we were doing when we started wedding planning and they were with us every step of the way!

Book. This. Venue.
You will NOT regret it! I have been constantly blown away by the incredible customer service received by Kaylah, Abbie and Teagan throughout the 12 month planning process. They were responsive, caring, and kind at all times. They put up with all my bridezilla moments and remained upbeat and proactive with every enquiry I threw at them.
Kaylah had our backs 100% on our wedding day. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. She somehow managed to keep everything running smoothly, because my partner and I were so caught up in everything, we didn’t know what to do with ourselves and we lost track of our timings. She really saved the day at least 100 times and made sure everything went so well for us.
All bar and wait staff were fantastic too!

Just had our wedding and could not be happier with choosing the shearing shed, before confirming our booking we had a sit down meeting and viewing of the venue with Abbie, for a wedding of around 100 guests. After booking we kept in contact with any questions we had via email, and had one last walkthrough and in person meeting around 8 months before. We had most of the details already sorted and made the month before and planning the rest of the wedding so easy. On the day we had Kaylah along side my wedding planner to make our day go so smooth. She assisted with set up and throughout the day/night. She was accomodating and so helpful. We had so many compliments from our guests about the venue and the menu we chose. The dance floor was full all night and not one thing went wrong. My husband and I could not be more thankful to Abbie, Kaylah and all their staff. We had so much support throughout our planning process and on the day. Highly recommend if your looking for a venue that covers it all the shearing shed is the way to go! Plus, amazing background for photos!
