My husband and I were in Sydney for a motorsport event and stayed a night here. We really enjoyed our stay here, we had a really lovely view out onto a golf course. The room itself was clean, comfortable and perfect for what we needed. The bathroom looks modern and clean. The young gentleman that checked us in was very lovely and polite. Definitely recommend a stay here.

This motel is a basic 3 star and great value for money. Reception/check in was fast and polite. The room, while a little dated is spouse and includes a 2 seater couch and small table and two chairs. The room was clean and well designed, ie. we could put our cases and things out without tripping over them etc. Air conditioning worked well as did the plumbing etc. There is a Korean restaurant on site that has erratic hours,- it was open when we stayed but booked out! There is a Korean hot pot within 100m, and Italian and Chinese restaurants within 300m. We ate at the Italian- food is well priced and quite acceptable. there is a coffee shop open daylight hours called Cafe on Melrose about 300m away in a new residential development- had a great breakfast and great coffee there. Our room was towards the rear, and despite the motel being on busy Victoria Road, noise was not a problem. Recommended.

Stayed here over the weekend to watch UFC! Place was in a convenient spot for public transport to get around. The shower was excellent with great water pressure, newly renovated bathroom and carpet throughout room. Was located on side of a busy road, but couldn’t hear any traffic during the night! My partner and I enjoyed our stay!

Great pool - clean & deep. Bit noisy with traffic but beds were very comfy. Rooms clean & well serviced. Clean & large bathroom. We stayed 4 nights - happy with everything. Great Nepalese restaurant about 2 kms away 😋

My friend and I stayed at the Select Inn Ride for 2 nights and the view of the golf course was amazing and the staff were lovely. However, the quality of the room did not meet our expectations. Both of our towels and our bedding were stained. When asking for a different set of towels, the new ones also were stained. When we went to use the kettle, we luckily checked first as there was mold on the inside of it. The toilet was unnecessarily high off the ground, which made it extremely difficult to use as our feet were practically dangling off of it. There was also a strange smell filtering into the bathroom presumably from the food place downstairs.
Overall we would have had a more pleasant experience if it wasn’t for these things

I stayed at this hotel recently for 4 nights and cannot recommend it highly enough as a very cost-effective, clean, surprisingly quiet and very friendly place to stay outside the usual city centres in Sydney. I wanted to be within walking distance of my daughter's home so took a chance on a local hotel within walking/bus distance to West Ryde shopping centre where I could easily arrive by train from the airport to keep the travel cost down. The hotel manager gave me excellent nightly rates (I've never stayed in a Sydney hotel at a lower rate), advice and prompt, friendly taxis on demand. The room was modern, comfortable, very clean and as a bonus, gave me a brilliant view towards the city across the Ryde-Parramatta Golf Course right next-door. For anyone needing to relax in their room, sitting back and watching the golf activity was perfect. The location of the hotel on busy Victoria Road was surprisingly painless in my second floor room facing away from the road - once the door was closed, the room was very quiet. I tried the Korean restaurant downstairs (it was fine) and noted that there were laundry and kitchen/microwave facilities available upstairs and an outdoor pool, but didn't need to use them. There was also a very handy cafe (Cafe On Melrose) within a short walk along Victoria Road amongst the new apartment buildings. All in all, this hotel exceeded my expectations of a suburban hotel and I will happily stay there again in future.

Handy location near lots of shops, food venues, busstop right out the front and golf course next door. Easy parking. Private entrance and staff leave you be - they arrnt nosey or intrusive. Rooms clean but smelt stale. Beds reasonably comfy, great shower. Can help yourself to extra towels, tea/coffee/milk which was great. Laundry powder provided for free.
Note that pool is lovely but not suitable for people with limited mobility & no entry into shallow end. Staff complained repeatedly that i found a cheap rate online through third party booking site. Thats not my problem & i didnt want to hear about it as if id done something wrong.
Overall it was great for a couple of nights, especially for adults.

Lovely family business, super comfortable beds. Missing a few items I could have used, I.e a bottle opener and a shower hat. My highlight was the quality shampoo, soap and lotion. Loved the smell and sensation 👌 relief for my AuDHD symptoms
