What an amazing and informative river cruise. All the staff were awesome and our tour guide / boat drivers knowledge was second to none. The food was super fresh and tasty and the girls serving worked their backsides off!! Highly recommended and will definitely go on another one next time we are down this way!

Booked the Riverboat Postman for my mums 75th Birthday. We all loved it! Had the best seats on the boat, facing outwards right at the front with no one adjacent to us. Anzac biscuits upon arrival were delicious. The scenery was fantastic. The lunch also yummy and we opted for a glass of champagne to celebrate. The only slight downside was the narrating during the tour. A bit monotone and hard to understand. Some moments of quiet or soft music would have been nice too. Friendly staff, comfortable and worth the price. Highly recommended!

The 3 hour cruise (it sounds like the beginning of Gilligan's Island..😂🤣) was very interesting and relaxing! The cruise is designed around taking the Postie to the various postal wharfs to deliver the mail! The boat pilot gives a very interesting and slightly humorous monologue throughout the cruise! You have indoor seating and a small meal with coffee, tea, beer and wine! The boat and toilet are exceptionally clean and tidy! The crew was efficient, professional and very friendly! My wife and I think it well worth the $59.00 fee and would not hesitate to do it again and invite friends next time! The trains from Sydney Central to Newcastle station is located about 100 meters from where you board the boat! We loved it all!

I can highly recommend the Riverboat Postie weekend day cruise. The morning tea and ploughman’s lunch were absolutely delicious. Best Turkish roll I have ever tasted. The cruise is very calm and leisurely with a few unusual rock formations and ancient rock paintings to see along the way. Not crowded even though it was fully booked. Fully stocked bar for those that want to sip their drink of choice while enjoying the open water and the feel of the fresh sea breeze.
Very friendly and attentive staff.

The views were great and the lunch was good. They raked in tons of money because the boat was filled to capacity. I gave 3 stars because we couldn't hear a single word over the intercom. From start to finish the whole commentary was muffled. We did try moving to a different location. No luck. This tour is too expensive and the owners should take some of their profits and come up with a better PA system.

I'm just at the end of an amazing 3 hours filled with peace and joy. The captain is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the area and the environment and his commentary is full of humour to keep everyone entertained. We have spent the last week in Sydney and this is so very different. Food is good and I'd recommend the cider!

If you come from Sydney, don't worry if your train gets there 5 minutes before departure. The boat is 2 minutes away. They are used to the incredibly short change over. 😬

Our car club decided to have a river cruise and chose The Riverboat Postman. From the get-go they were so fantastic to work with. Everything from handling our members bookings all the way through to getting us on board. The cruise, the crew, the food and drinks were spot on. The weather was great and the skipper ensured we got a close up view of seals sunbathing as well as Aboriginal artwork in the rocks along the rivers edge. I couldn’t recommend this company enough.

Came here recently for a cruise with my family for Father's Day and it was absolutely wonderful! Fantastic weather, I love that you can freely move around the boat and the commentary and information throughout was really interesting. I'm a local but still very much enjoyed seeing this part of the Coast in a way I haven't before. Very cool that they took us to see seals that were out, as well as Aboriginal carvings. Lunch was lovely as well, and drinks at bar fairly priced. So many photo opportunities too. Highly recommend this cruise for locals and tourists, I loved it.
