Hands down the best park! Facilities are incredible with the kids playing on the water slides for hours. The beach access was super convenient. We also booked out the pool room for a group function was a large space equipped with everything we needed. The staff made a group booking seamless and were very accommodating. I can not thank the team at The Retreat enough for the excellent service and facilities.

At our arrival 3 out of smoke alarms out here of order: 2 beeping due to flat batteries and one open hanging without a battery. The staff managed to give us another room for the night around midnight. We had to change room again the day after.
Lack of maintenance and little no interest from the staff or management, not either a call or apology.

No chance to charge your electric vehicle, neither from a 10A gpo.

Beach volley court is for 6yo kids.
Gym, no comments

Apartment and was clean and in good working order, but reaching the age limits.

Expect Flights noise till late and from early morning.

Loud pitching noise from a turbine all the night.

We had a really enjoyable stay, the kids especially loved the pool and all the facilities were in very good condition. The staff were always helpful, and while the Sundowner cabin was a bit dated it was well cared for with up to date appliances and furniture. Lots of space to play around the park and easy access to the beach and the running/riding tracks along the coast.

This was our first family holiday in six years, so it was lovely to go to a well-maintained and facilitated venue. Our accommodation was in a near spotless condition when we arrived and having meals on the front porch overlooking the site was delightful. A highlight was being driven to Harbourtown on Wednesday by a staff member for a shopping spree!

Very disappointing!!!
Would not stay at this place again.
Poor customer service.
Below basic standard facilities with old fashioned infra structure which seriously needs renovation.
Lack of interest by the reception staff in addressing guest's issues was enough to convince me to avoid staying this place in future.

Day 1 :No toiletries/no tea bags/sugar in an accommodation booked for 4 family members.Staff was contacted regarding same matter and was told that no one is available ? at this stage to address the matter.Took 2 hours to get one soap for 4 people and 2 tea bags and sugar sachets.Customer service at it's worst with no understanding regarding needs of a family of 4.
Day 2 : tea bags and sugar requested and being told by receptionist that they have not got enough tea bags to provide.Neither any apology from the staff nor any action to address the matter for rest of the day.
Day 3.Swimming pool slides not functional.Reception staff was contacted and got the answer that ''not sure when water slides would
be functional " half an hour later tried to get an update ,same response by the reception staff.1 hour later water slides still not functional and same response from reception staff " not sure when we could fix the problem" Neither any apology from staff nor any action taken to address the issue.At last I had to leave the pool with my kids (very disappointed given the poor customer service with no intent to address the request of the guest)
I hope management at this park would take this feedback seriously to avoid inconvenience as well as disappointment to any upcoming guests intending to stay at this property.

We always, make our family holidays to The Retreat @ West beach, when organising or checking availability we were told it was a 7 night minimum, when we have stayed here before on a number of occasions we never had a problem, when booking again this year we were told the same thing 7 night minimum. We definitely will not be staying at The Retreat for our family holidays we were quite disappointed

Everything great except the games room, which had mostly broken controllers. No big deal, as I’d rather the kids run around anyway.

Very comfortable unit. All we needed for our week’s stay. Had all amenities we needed plus very central to our requirements. Easy drive to Glenelg, Henley Beach, the airport and only 15 minutes to the city. Also close to Harbour Town for a bit of shopping. The staff were friendly and helpful.
