We had a lovely stay at Stirling Retreat for my wedding weekend. The property was stunning, especially with the autumn leaves just starting to turn—such a beautiful and peaceful setting. The rooms were warm, beautifully styled, and felt so welcoming.

Everything was handled smoothly and professionally, and we felt really well looked after. A perfect spot for a relaxing getaway—highly recommend!

Beautiful, tranquil and peaceful accommodation near the golf course in Stirling. Exquisitely designed, the one bedroom apartment is very comfortable. There’s a coffee machine in the kitchen and our hosts provided supplies to make breakfast which was wonderful. The heated pool is an added bonus. 5 minute drive into Stirling central. Wonderful stay, would highly recommend it to anyone.

Awesome place for a holiday,a home away from home,everything you need for a relaxing holiday..our room had a door leading onto the indoor pool,which I indulged in regularly.
Short drive into Sterling shops and local pub,which is probably the nicest pub I've seen for some time..but book ahead,it's very popular.
If you like Dalesford or Mount Macedon in Victoria, you'll love Stirling!
Also a short drive to other small towns..love the atmosphere and tranquillity of the bush and the people were refreshingly friendly!

This was a truly lovely stay. The accomodation was faultless, self catered breakfast was tasty and we had the best time. Everything had been thought of and the two nights felt like we'd had a week away!

Great stay and Hosts are friendly & easy to contact always available to help with any little things, only thing we can think of to help review the Retreat is maybe look at making the courtyards more updated. All in all would definitely stay again trip to Tapanappa Winery close by was great.

Wow! What a wonderful and relaxing stay at this lovely retreat. The pool villa is beautifully decorated, spacious and quiet.
The 'goodies' that were supplied were a lovely surprise. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our mini vacation.
The location is excellent , '7 minutes' from most other destinations that we wished to experience!

- The hotel is located a stone's throw away from the highway, constant traffic noise makes that place the opposite of a retreat. We could not enjoy the balcony because it was just too loud
- Ikea breakfast, they just shove some ingredients in the fridge and you have to ration it over 2 days and cook it yourselves.
- You have to do your own dishes after cooking your breakfast and they do not have a dishwasher!
- We literally didn't see anyone during our stay. We were hoping for some convivial interaction but there was just no one
- There were some cobwebs in the corner to access the bathroom, and there was some litter below the bed. Terrible.
- The pool is a joke. It's not accessible during weekday office hours, and outside of it you have to uncover it yourself and put it back in!

Basically, if I wanted to cook myself, do the dishes myself, uncover the pool myself, I would stay at my own house! And doing that at the sound of highway traffic noise was just terrible. For 330$ a night, I do not recommend that place at all!
