I recently hosted a singles event at Purple Emerald Lounge in Northcote, and it was an absolute delight. The function space was intimate, comfortable, and perfect for fostering meaningful conversations. The finger food was delicious, and the cocktails were beautifully crafted—my guests couldn’t stop raving about them!

A special thanks to the attentive staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. I was especially impressed by the thoughtful tea tray they brought out during a unique part of the event—it was such a perfect touch.

If you’re looking for a cozy, stylish venue with exceptional service and a relaxed vibe, Purple Emerald Lounge is a fantastic choice. I can’t wait to return—perhaps for a Valentine’s event in 2026!

We recently hosted our engagement party at Purple Emerald Lounge Bar, and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, Phil and his team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is stunning, with its cozy and intimate vibe creating the perfect atmosphere for our special night.

We had my daughter’s 18th birthday at the Purple Emerald- Sundeck space out the back. Couldn’t be happier with how it went.

We found the place on Google, had never attended the venue before, and am so glad we found it!

Phil was excellent with his communication, was very quick to respond to emails. Easy communication. The space is intimate, and warm. Food platters were delicious. Drinks flowed freely. Nothing was too hard to ask, or be organised. The flower wall that had been up for a previous function was an added touch which my daughter loved, and was great for photos.

We were completely happy with everything. Would highly recommend this venue. Thank you to Phil and his staff for everything. Wouldn’t hesitate to have another function in this space. Definitely a happy customer!! 😊

Such a great location for an event! We hired a function space for my friends birthday and it was perfect. The canapés were delicious and the bar and wait staff were so friendly and personable. I would not to hesitate to recommend this venue to anybody looking to host their next event! Best spicy margs in town

Real world class cocktails ! These guys know how to make proper cocktails. They should the Purple Emerald has been around for over 20 years . The soul from when it was located in Flinders lane is still present today. Amazing outdoor area . The quality of the cocktails is what keeps me going back. They are not watered down and are made to perfection. The staff are absolutely on the ball , nothing is too difficult . The vibe is always fantastic . It’s easily the best bar on the area by a long shot .

I had my birthday at the purple emerald and it was amazing. All I had to do was put down a very reasonable 250 deposit which went to food anyway. There was no obligation of a bar tab or paying per head so everything was very relaxed in the lead up. It's a beautiful private space where you can set up your own music and the rose decor was lovely. There were plenty of seats and it wasn't too loud. The owner was lovely and gave me complimentary drinks and sent me a really nice email following the event. It was such a stress free night and I would highly recommend it for events.
