Went to Seymour on the Easter long weekend and wanted to have some lunch. We ordered the beef brisket burger (menu said with onion rings), salad on the side and a Hot & spicy pizza. We got a burger with no onion rings (had pickled onions), chips on the side and a Hawaiian pizza. Only one person was serving the floor so probably got the order wrong running around serving everyone. Had the pizza returned and got the correct pizza but kept the burger as I didn't want to send back all of it. I have never eaten a pizza with that much Jalapenos in my life! It was too spicy imo. Finally the bill was $67.90 which is on the high side for a burger and a small pizza.

We found this Hotel on our long way from Sydney to Melbourne last year and we stopped here once again and we weren’t disappointed. The hotel comes with plenty of seating inside and out , good beer and drinks menu, nice clean amenities. The food was lovely, on this occasion i had one of the specials that they were offering , a full rack of ribs with chips and slaw , the meat was falling off the bone and it was deliciously cooked. My partner had a tasty brisket burger. Highly recommend visiting the Hotel !

There are so many great aspects of this hotel it’s difficult to know where to start and so 5 Stars in all aspects of everything they do. The manager (ess) made us feel so welcome, was exceptionally friendly, super efficient and should take pride in the cleanliness of the entire establishment.

The service was quick and friendly, we felt welcome and not under any pressure to leave, and the waitress took time to chat while cleaning up. Our entree, meals and coffee were hot, tasty, reasonably priced and good sized servings, with plenty of fresh vegetables in our main meal. Our dishes were cleared quickly and unobtrusively. The decor was tasteful, rustic, relaxed and comfortable, the gentle country music playing was enjoyable and understated to form pleasant background atmosphere, so we could easily speak to each other and be heard. It was a little chilly in the back room, after a coolish day, but we couldn't fault our experience otherwise. Never having eaten here before, we would happily return again in future. Thank you all for great teamwork and service.

food wasn't bad but the steak being the most premium item on the menu shouldn't be as tough as it was... likely defrosted last minute.

wine list or menu would be a nice addition as it's a food centric kinda place with great spaces outdoors and in.

Wide selection of beverages and likewise the food options. Will definitely come back again to try other dishes!

Need to lift their game! I don’t mind the prices being higher than your average country pub, as long as you get the experience to match.
We had a booking & walked in and no one greeted us to show us to our table. After 5 min we found our own table, only to be reprimanded by the waitress for seating ourselves when she finally arrived . No table service for drinks - again which is fine , but not when you are paying a massive $28 for a martini !
Meals were okay , but just okay. Certainly nothing to rate. But prices were right up there for what you got.
Three on our table didn’t get their meals until the rest of us had almost finished ours. When we asked the waiter to check on the meals, we were looked at as though we had no right to ask such a thing and were told they will be here soon.
The establishment itself was quite nice and it has loads of potential. All it really needs is a little staff training in real hospitality . Then one doesn’t mind the higher prices. These prices I would expect full table service and a welcome on arrival and a smile from the floor staff .

friendly staff, good atmosphere but seriously hands down the worst eggplant Parma I’ve ever had … $30 - wasn’t crumbed at all, undercooked and didn’t come with salad. I was starving and still didn’t finish it.

We stopped for a break on a road trip and had most delicious meal. Although the prices seemed a bit high, everything was tasty and the service was fantastic. It is also very child friendly, with a beer garden and little play area and the kids meals were just $5 on a week night. We highly recommend the schnitzel and brownie.
