I enjoyed the stay here at The point hotel. The amazing city skyline view from the balcony was such a bonus. I stayed in a wheelchair friendly room and it was well equipped and generous size. Driveway onto the lobby is better than some 5 star hotels.

The hotel is situated in a quiet location in Kangaroo point but Brisbane can be easily accessed by the ferries which are 5 minute walk away Alternatively a walk across the nearby footbridge takes you to the Botanic gardens within 15 minutes |The accommodation is well maintained and the rooms cleaned to a high standard plus there is a small room in the basement which holds a few washing machines so you can freshen up your clothes |The food at breakfast was of a high quality and each morning we were offered additional options if we so desired and the chef did regular checks that everything was in order. However, we found the best thing about this hotel was the friendliness and hospitality of the staff. They were fabulous

Amazing stay. We’ve stayed at various hotels near the airport in the past, but decided to venture out this time. We are so glad we did! The Point staff are professional, courteous, and helpful in assisting with getting around the city. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with everything you will need. Bathrooms are huge, and the tub is a nice addition. The Point at Kangaroo Point is close to the City Cat (ferry), City Bridge, and Botanical Gardens. Our only wish would be for them to provide a shuttle from the airport, but this doesn’t seem to be a standard feature for hotels in Australia. We can’t recommend this hotel enough! If I had 6 stars, I would give it!

The Point Brisbane Hotel was an exceptional hotel for it's value. Upon check-in, the staff provided a crib for an infant complimentary. The room had a living area with a separated bedroom and a private balcony with a view. The bathroom also featured a large tub big enough for two individuals. All the beds and amenities were clean and well kept. The television and internet functioned as expected. The hotel does have breakfast available; however, it is for an additional cost or for certain bookings.

Could not recommend this place enough.
I’ve stayed here a handful of times and the standard of high quality service has been consistent every time.
We checked in late, and they checked us in quickly. The staff are so friendly and easy to chat to and very accomodating.
They upgraded our room which was a really nice touch too.

Another thing to note,
We lost a small valuable item during our stay and the staff were great at helping us find it.

Location is perfect and close to Howard smith wharfs and valley.

Safe to say I will be booking here every time.

The hotel can be found in a quiet location around Kangaroo point but Brisbane can be easily accessed by the ferries, which are within 5 minutes walk. Alternatively a 15 minute walk over the footbridge takes you to the Botanical gardens
The accommodation is maintained well and rooms cleaned to a high standard. The food for breakfast was of a high quality each morning and we were offered additional options if we so desired.There is also a small room with washing machine to clean clothes However, we found the best thing about this hotel was the friendliness and hospitality of the staff. They were fabulous. We would definitely recommend staying here

I booked a package deal for my wife and her friend for "a girls weekend." Both of them could not say enough good things about their experience.

Their room was well designed and exceptionally clean. They LOVED the black out curtains with VELCRO to make sure all those annoying little gaps could be sealed shut. Both of their mattresses and pillows were incredibly comfortable as well. They used the 24 hour room service and were impressed with the pool area which also had a menu. The gym was stocked with fresh towels and a fridge for your water bottle. The workout plan on the gym wall was also well thought out and handy. The rooftop bar has great views and a relaxed vibe.

Breakfast was amazing with lots of variety and thoughtful details.

Staff were incredibly professional, polite and made everything look easy. It is clear that there are excellent processes in place which are well understood and followed by all staff, who take pride in their respective roles.

Highly recommended and next time, I'll be staying! Thank you.

Stayed here for 4 nights during my visit to Brisbane. The hotel is quite dated, and the cleanliness was just average. I booked a suite through a third-party platform (Agoda), as it was the only available room type at the time. The suite was also listed as wheelchair accessible.

However, upon check-in, they downgraded me to a standard queen room instead of the suite, explaining that the suite was meant for disabled guests. I double-checked their website and found that they offer both wheelchair-accessible and non-accessible suite options, proving that their explanation was misleading.

If a specific room type is booked, they should not change it without proper justification. I didn’t escalate the issue further, but it was definitely unprofessional. I would not recommend this hotel, as it is not value for money. The only positive was the free self-service laundry.
