After speaking with the CEO, John Gibbons, it's clear their issues are throughout the company from top to bottom. The lack of empathy being their primary problem. I've never missed an appointment, always completed my obligations, however have had missed appointments by them not calling me, have had zero help actually looking for work for months on end. Unfortunately my life already having physical health issues with upcoming surgery plus mental health issues all while dealing with moving house I was very unwell this morning and couldn't take my appointment call, I called back 1 hour later to be told I wouldn't be getting my payment and I would have to do an intro appointment he didn't have time to organise because he was in a meeting. I then was forced to drive 1 hour each way to their office because they wouldn't speak to me over the phone. I happened to arrive during a visit from their CEO, John, whom took me aside to discuss my issues. He refused to answer many questions, he refused to allow me to tape the conversation and when explaining how unwell I was this morning he asked "Do you have a medical certificate?" I had to explain to this person whom has apparently been working within the disability employment sector for 13 plus years that my issue is ongoing, everyday, all day. If I had to get a certificate each time I'm unwell I might as well rent a room at my doctors office. The lack of empathy, understanding, and unwillingness to look at things from another persons point of view is absolutely disgusting. All when they have in their office their 'goals' and 'values' printed on the wall, however the CEO himself does not show these values there's absolutely no wonder the staff also do not follow these values. This organisation is a not for profit, however fully funded by Federal funding, this is tax payers money lining the pockets of such CEOs that clearly do not value their clients and show no understanding of disabilities. It's unacceptable these companies receive millions in funding to provide little to no support to those in much need, unfortunately if anything adding to peoples stress and making them more unwell. How is this acceptable. I call for a Royal Commission into all job networks as they are not contributing in a positive manner to peoples lives as they claim.
