Great to see this shop back in good hands. The fish & chips, crumbed prawns & calamari are great. It can be a little greasy but still a solid fish n chip shop. Will be back!

Thank you for providing not 1 but 4 locations of amazing venues! The central coast needs people like you running businesses like these!

Most amazing family run business and accompanied by awesome staff!

The food is amazing, highly recommend! The venue is squeaky clean and fresh!

My go to is the Crispy Skin Salmon - served with a yummy avacado + feta salad with a super fresh vinaigrette dressing!!!!

Don’t walk, RUN to the Pelican at Long jetty for your next lunch, dinner or snack!!!

We visited this shop expecting a high-quality experience based on its reputation, but unfortunately, it fell short. We ordered the “Family Platter” for four and waited over an hour to receive our order. When we finally got home to eat, the platter itself was disappointing.

Despite being advertised as a meal for four, components—like the calamari and prawns—only included three pieces, which doesn’t make sense. The platter was also overwhelmingly filled with chips, with far fewer seafood items than expected. For the price and the wait time, we left feeling let down. This shop may have a great reputation, but our experience did not live up to the hype.

Had the grilled fish and chips here and it did not disappoint.
The fish was tender with a pleasant subtle taste and the chips were so nicely fried my mouth is watering just thinking about it writing this up right now.

Staff were friendly too.

So I was on my way to The Entrance to grab a feed for lunch …well as I was driving via Long Jetty I passed @thepelicanlongjetty , and thought I may take the next corner and turn back to make this stop off for a quick bite for lunch. Well that decision split decision I had made turned out to certainly be a good one. Upon recommendation I ordered a works burger combo…may not sound too different or exciting, however this was fair dinkum up there with one of the best burgers I have had for quite some time. The hot chips were also right up there as well. I now understand as to why this newly opened business tends to draw a crowd at lunch and dinner time especially! 🍔 🙌

Fresh tasting fish with huge calamari rings, even got a complimentary piece of flat head that was cooked accidentally.

Great service and food, especially catering to gluten-free options. We arrived at closing time after having driven down from Nambucca that day, but the staff couldn’t have been more helpful in getting us on our way quickly with a great seafood takeaway meal.
