I rarely leave reviews, but this place was truly disappointing. The service was absolutely awful—staff were more interested in chatting among themselves and scrolling on their phones than doing their jobs. No one greeted us, offered help, or even seemed to notice we were there. Tables were left dirty, and the manager was nowhere to be found the entire time.

We waited over 40 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold and barely edible. For the price they charge, you'd expect at least basic quality and service, but this was just unacceptable. The whole experience felt like a waste of time and money.

Definitely not somewhere I’ll be returning to, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The level of cleanliness was little to none. There were bloody stains on the floor as well as the bedding, which was riddled with other people's hair. Not a single sanitary bin in sight and there was urine and vomit on the shared toilet floors at all times.

Was constantly noisy with renovations and loud drunks in the bar downstairs. The food was abhorrent and tasted of chemicals and that was after they got my order wrong more than once.

It's a pub in Breakfast Point, which is a flash area to live, but the pub isn't flash. It could be so much better, but they haven't invested in it, or made any attempt to upgrade the facilities, despite the exorbitant drinks prices.
The restaurant is the best part about this venue, as the food is good (although typically a little pricier than it should be, but still worth it). Worth visiting if you like good pub food.
The public bar is old and tired and very noisy. Seats in terrible condition, worn carpets, and belongs in the 70's. The outside beer garden area is pleasant, but again needs a big revamp.
All in all, the owners have done nothing with pub and take advantage of well-heeled locals with high prices.

We have eaten here a few times recently and are pleased with the quality of the food and the service. A great local for us

Room clearly had been recently repainted, but not properly ventilated considering someone painted the window shut and the room stunk of paint fumes. Painters tape still around the light switch. Gave me a headache after about 10 minutes. Had to cancel due to concerns about health being exposed to VOCs with no form of ventilation. Not somewhere I wanted to stay for 6 nights.

Manager was understanding and assisted us best he could. Still was charged for one night but I believe that was Expedia’s (we booked through a 3rd party) doing, not the hotels.

Carpets looked pretty nasty as did the shared bathroom from what little we saw of them while waiting for the manager. Also, no aircon at all in the room we booked. The fans provided did little to make that room comfortable.

Cozy vibes and a spacious place with plenty of locals. The service was average, and the food was a bit pricey at $35 for the meal and $10 for a schooner of beer. I had to wait about 30 minutes for my food, but it turned out to be amazing! worth coming for the bar food and Friday night atmosphere.

It's mostly a pub/sports bar with restaurant facilities, it's ok for a quick dinner
