Central Cooktown Stay
This apartment is located just a short walk from the centre of town. We stayed in a comfortable, well-designed, modern 1 bedroom apartment with a large kitchenette/dining area/lounge space. The kitchenette was equipped with a microwave, toaster and kettle and plenty of cutlery and crockery, and a starter kit of teabags, instant coffee, and milk. (If you want a fully equipped kitchen, book the adjacent Franigpani Suite). The bathroom was good with a walk in rain shower and the bed was super comfortable. The shared verandah is lovely with beautiful views of the waterfront – and the sunsets are wonderful. Pranom is a terrific host – super welcoming, friendly and helpful. This is a great option for a central Cooktown stay.
