Have stayed at The Old Mechanics and Tuck Inn and could not fault either of the accommodations. The rooms are beautifully maintained and cleaned and thoughtfully decorated, even love the addition of ground coffee for plungers and tea and sugar in cannisters (not in paper sachets).
Both places are perfectly situated with a short walk to main street.
The hosts are wonderful and go out of their way to make your stay perfect.

Lovely, cozy and pristine. Best place to stay in Yarra Valley. Very private yet handy to shops and an easy drive to the local attractions. Hosts are lovely and even checked in to see if we settled comfortably. Would love to come back again some time!

Perfect location, so close to town, cafes, restaurants etc. The room was lovely, very clean and tons of space. The bed was so comfy and the ensuite had the largest shower area we've ever seen. Great communication and easy self check in. Thanks Donia and Ozzy, we'll be back!

We had a lovely stay at Old Mechanics in Apt 4. Gorgeous mezzanine bedroom with spacious walk-in shower and main floor sitting room (with bonus powder room). There’s a quiet patio out the back to enjoy as well. Will definitely be back!

Beautifully presented room. Very comfortable stay.
Awesome location, walking distance to great restaurants and the Four Pillars Gin distillery.

Centrally located for great day trips to see the surrounding sights.
Definitely recommend staying at the Old Mechanics.

Also take some bird seed and feed the cockatoos and lorikeets at the base of the local dam.

I stayed at The Old Mechanics on Thursday and Friday night. Its the best place i have ever stayed. The rooms are generous in size. Large bathroom. The most comfy bed Ive slept on. Very close to the main street but fair enough away at the same time

We had a wonderful 2 day stay in Healesville and stayed at what is possibly the #1 accommodation (adult only) in town. Great location, excellent, comfortable room and easy to access. Very helpful hosts who messaged us with all details from arriving to leaving. We will definitely be return visitors.

Lovely accommodation in delightful Healesville, in an excellent location just behind the main street in Healesville. You won't have to walk far to find a place to eat or drink. The hosts had excellent communication. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped, even if they aren't flashy or modern.
