We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on The Murray River Queen with 4 other couples. We had a fantastic weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for our wonderful host, Donna.
The rooms were great and it was very relaxing spending time looking over the beautiful river and chatting with our friends. It was only a short trip into Loxton if we wanted anything.
The weekend was everything we hoped it would be.

Cosy cabin accommodation right by the Riverside in an idyllic location. Only a 2 minute drive from the town centre which has everything. Donna and Tom were amazing hosts.

We absolutely loved our time on the boat, it has been amazingly renovated, and also comes with a filtered water drinking/filling station on board.

The room was extremely clean, with a super comfy bed which had luxurious linen and the bathroom towels were amazing too. The sunset and sunrises were beautiful and it was so peaceful and quiet, with only the sounds of birds.

Our next planned trip will be in June with family joining us and we're all looking forward to it, especially as the cafe should be opened by then.

A huge thanks to Donna for bringing this Beauty back to life for everyone to enjoy in Loxton! Much appreciated 🙏

Donna was my host and she was fabulous, knowledgeable and friendly. Loves her “boat” and is bringing it back into service. A beautiful riverside, lower deck room with a very comfortable bed. Great amenities and some are still being upgraded. The area is great for exploring too.

We stayed on The Murray River Queen at its new location in Loxton. We were given a great room on the top deck by Donna. It was nice to sit and watch the river and have a great conversation with Donna and Tom. We will be back again, A unique experience.

What a lovely stay we had. The room was lovely, bed was very nice we both slept well. We both loved the views ducks, pelicans all kinds of birds and sounds. Although not a lot to do in Renmark (not their fault lol) we still enjoyed ourselves and will most definitely return for another stay 🙂 thanks Tom and Donna for being so lovely. 🥰

Do your self a favor and book a stay on the Murry Queen! We had a room on the lower deck and it was beautiful. There are seating areas all over the boat and you can watch the river, wildlife and boats passing. We picked up dinner and ate in the communal seating areas. Huge floor to celling windows with plenty of room. The room was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfy and the linen was delightful. The shower pressure was perfect as was the body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Fresh cool water is always available via the water cooler. Donna was very helpful and was so kind and welcoming. Super close to everything!! We had an absolute blast here and look forward to when we stay again, we have already referred our friends!

We stayed on The Murray River Queen last Saturday night. An overnight stay. It was magnificent. A beautiful riverside room (Room 14). A fantastic view. Awesome location. Extremely relaxing. A totally enjoyable experience. Absolute value for money. Donna was a amazing. Really attentive, very welcoming and really friendly.Only negative is we did not stay long enough.
