We have stayed here a few times. It is close enough (for us) to the beach. A 3 minute walk. Very close to Tedder Avenue which has some excellent restaurants.

Accommodation is fine. We prefer a 3 or 4 star accommodation with large rooms and living spaces than a 5 star hotel with not enough room to swing a cat.

Gabby and Leo in management are always very helpful on any issues.

We will stay there again.

We had some pluses and minuses on our stay. The building is well located but can be quite noisy at night as it is near the shops. Be aware there is a lot of construction nearby and this can be very noisy!||The unit itself is well appointed, the bed comfortable but overall the cleaning is not great and some utensils were ready for the bin. A lot could be done to improve this property.

We stayed in a lovely and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment in a very well-located part of Main Beach, Gold Coast. Ideal if you don’t want to be right on the beach but prefer a short walk to Tedder Ave shops and restaurants. Would have been a lovely stay except for the inhouse noise of another apartment being renovated. Extreme noise – drilling and hammering – and which they did not tell us about until after we had booked and paid. Extreme noise – to the point where it simply wasn’t possible to either rest or indeed work (online) in the apartment while the construction was going on – just a few floors above us. We had no choice but to leave the apartment and go somewhere else while it was happening. Completely unacceptable that we were somehow not warned about the likely noise prior to us booking. Simply, had we known we would not have stayed there, as convenient as the location might have been. Check. And if they are still renovating – suggest you find somewhere else to stay.

Surprisingly large rooms, living spaces and bathrooms ! The location is perfectly located to Tedder Avenue and Main Beach. There’s definite room for improvement in the building : needs new carpet, paint and some basic investment.
We had a sincerely kind experience with the man at reception - he allowed us to borrow his umbrella when it was raining. Good service.
Thanks again meriton apartments, we’ll be back!

Although I didn't stay at the hotel myself, I contacted Gabby (Management) to assist with surprising a colleague of mine who was a guest at the hotel travelling from interstate. Gabby went totally above and beyond to make this happen for us. It was SO appreciated. Some of the best customer service I have seen. Incredible work! Thank you again.

Great location...but that's it.
Filthy walls, dirty windows (on the inside) mould in bathrooms, rusty clotheshorse which no one in their right mind would hang freshly washed clothes on. Anyway...very neglected 3 bedroom apartment.
If privately owned, owners need to take a bit of pride in their investment.
But the best is that the windows open fully!!! Isn't there a law that there should be restrictions on all high rise building windows In 25yrs of visiting the Gold Coast this is the first time I've come across it.
Someone needs to look into this before a child or a drunk falls out.
But...great location.....and not for families with children.

Perfect location. Very well priced. An older building and not a flash new unit but that suits us more and if we wanted that we could pay a lot more and stay at a new place. The facilities are all great. A short walk to the beach so perfect for a morning swim and all the restaurants just downstairs. Will definitely stay here again!!

The Meriton is in a great location very close to Tedder Ave Main Beach.
The Entrance Foyer ,grounds and pools look great but we did not use them.
The cost for the accommodation was very reasonable.
The accommodation not so great though it was clean with comfortable beds.
We walked in the door and the apartment smelt STRONGLY of bleach.We had to open all doors and windows to try and clear the air.
The cutlery and glasses were miss matched like they were from an Op Shop.
And the Microwave was well rusted.
The two old blue Chairs were dirty and uncomfortable.
The BBQ on the Balcony was rusted out and totally against all health regulations as was the chair beside the BBQ with the seat totally fallen in!
Bathrooms were ok and clean except that the ensuite toilet seat was not properly attached and you slipped and moved when seated.
