We had a birthday lunch in the Ivy Room and couldn’t be happier with the experience. I was allowed to come and decorate our area before our booking time, which I was grateful for. Managment was lovely and accommodating. Our waitress was very helpful. The food was delicious, and everyone said they enjoyed theirs. The atmosphere is relaxed yet very well presented. Classy decor. Clean and well maintained. We will definitely keep coming back. It’s become a fave for our family.

So happy with everything today for our girls lunch!! The food was delicious, the service and the staff were so attentive, friendly and couldn't do enough to make our lunch the best experience that it was. We were also looking at The Maylands for a venue for our dear friends 60th Birthday! It ticks all the boxes.Cannot fault them, The venue menu has given us many choices and very open to use our own DJ and virtually any requests that we asked about. This will be my new go to, for lunches and dinners!!

I went there as a party of 6; all but one had steaks all perfectly cooked to their request. The other meal was a Lamb Back trap salad which to his comments was great. My rump steak (rare) was cooked to perfection lovely and juicy and look magnificent on the plate.

Well presented delicious food.
Ordered the crab cakes, a very good starter. The waygu beef burger is simple but very tasty. Chicken snitzel with Parmigiana topping was perfect, and the whiting just melt in your mouth delicious. I can't wait to come back to try other items on the menu.

Attended a small group lunch with friends. The service was excellent. Food was really good and ambience of The Library dining room was perfect for chatting with minimal background noise. On-site parking was an added bonus. Would highly recommend.

Great food for our large group of 16. Unfortunately we had to ask for our table to be cleared as finished meals and plates had been sitting on the table for a long time despite there being very few other guests left in the restaurant. A request for a candle to put in a desert for the birthday girl was not met with great enthusiasm. Love the venue and the food and looking forward to improved service on our next visit.

Overall outstanding. The staff were attentive and helpful. A couple of small glitches with the meals, the chicken was delicious but a bit too pink around the bone and the steaks quite fatty but still very tasty. Overall 8.5/10.

We had our son’s christening function at the Maylands in the lower dining area and we were extremely happy. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely and patient too, especially given we had a lot of kids under 5 at our event, which meant it was very chaotic at times.

Entrees were of high quality, and our guests were able to choose between three mains, all of which were delicious. A lot of our family and friends commented on the quality of the food, and the table service for drinks was also very good.

Overall it represented excellent value for money and we were thoroughly impressed. We would definitely recommend it to others who are thinking of hosting a function at the Maylands. The functions and venue manager were very prompt with their correspondence leading up to the event, being very helpful and always open to answering questions.

This meant the whole day went really smoothly and we would definitely return for our other functions, as well as for casual dining with our family.
