The Maryville Tavern is a local favourite that never disappoints. The woodfired pizzas are seriously some of the best around. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a casual night out or a catch-up with friends. Staff are friendly and attentive, and the drinks list has something for everyone. Such a beautiful tavern. The atmosphere is fantastic but the food is even better. My pizza was good but my partners steak was quite possibly the best steak I’ve ever had and was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back!!!

New renovations look great, as always not one of the pubs in Newcastle charging you full price and slimming down the portions. Great large meals and always great quality, the kitchen seems to always maintain their standards!

Wow have not been here for around 4 years and I was was certainly surprised.It has been renovated and it looks amazing well done to all the team on the new look.! Now to my Father’s Day lunch 2022 the food was the best I’ve had in a long time. To the chef in the kitchen all the support staff you do an amazing job and the service was excellent 101/10. I would definitely recommend that you go to this great little pub bd agave a family day or night. Well done guys we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful family birthday lunch here on Easter Sunday. The food servings were typical pub fare and very generous. The bar and serving staff were pleasant and special mention and thanks must be made to the supervisor who stored our home-baked birthday cake until it was needed and who added sparklers and candles for us and provided plates for serving without us having to request them. It all made for a very enjoyable outing for our large group on a special day for the family.
