Stayed in Room 31 up top. Very tidy and large room. Open up the windows at night and enjoy the fresh breeze through the place. Bed was king and very comfortable.
You get planes landing overhead but won't bother ya sleep. Pool is adequate to cool down. Shallow end isnt very shallow, keep that in mind.
Plenty of parking undercover. Restaurant always seemed busy.. but never got around to trying it
room service were very friendly.
Overall.. was one of my nicer hotel/motel stays in mackay.
Just a jump across the road to KFC if you love that and fairly close to everything in general.
Washer and dryer $4 gets you 30mins per machine.

Easy access to ground floor rooms. Accommodation is clean and spacious with comfortable beds, easy chairs and good space in bathroom. |Could not hear noise from the highway outside but there was an occasional plane landing as this hotel is on the flightpath to Mackay airport.|Plenty of restaurants in area - about 5 minutes drive.

Very good location easy to access, friendly staff in reception and easy to deal with. What my concern is the parking, we parked our car outside due to someone used our parking space in front of our room for overnight. What we found very dusty are the ceiling fan, the display on the wall near the bed and the window in the toilet. Please give attention to the housekeeping..

My company team stay here almost every week now. Very impressed! Clean rooms! Manager is amazing! We’ve had our team stay in a bunch of Mackay places previously and Marco Polo is the best by far! Great job guys! 5 stars for sure! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So disappointed with the dealings with this property. We were booked for a night enroute from Townsville to Kepple Island for a family event. recently. Flooding meant we had to cancel our plans. After ringing the property directly, we were advised that we could defer the nights accommodation. On reaching out to the property the next day, we were advised that there would be no refund or credit held. We were told that the third party we booked through would not refund the accommodation. Not true. We reached out to Qantas Holidays and they were understanding and accommodating - as was the property on Kepple Island. It was March Polo's decision to not provide a credit to allow us to visit our family at another time. Beware booking this property - extreme circumstances are upsetting in any circumstance - no joy with this property at all. Would not recommend.

We had a really nice relaxing night at the marco polo, as soon as I stepped into reception to check in the lady at the front desk who looked after me really is a treat.
So lovely and because of that alone I will be back.
The only thing I noticed was the shower where the soap goes already had an opened soap and a little hair on it. But did not bother us to much. Because everything else was great.
The rooms are nice and comfortable
I recommend a stay with them for a great rate $ per night and a quick dip in the pool which was lovely too.

Booking was for 2 x adult 2 x children, but only bedding for 3 people.

Rang at 7pm for extra pillows and was told I couldn’t get any but was told someone would call tomorrow.

Curtains hanging off the rails, water leaking on the floor from the fridge.

Not having enough bedding for the amount of guests staying is unacceptable.

Stayed here for a night after driving from Townsville. The room was quite large and roomy with all of the standard amenities expected from a motel. The bed was huge and spongy. It could have been a bit firmer but that’s just our preference. |The staff were very friendly which made the stay all that more pleasant.
