We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding reception and getaway than The Lodge Jamberoo. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely immaculate. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that our day was nothing short of spectacular.
The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous—everything from the stunning landscapes to the beautifully designed spaces created a magical atmosphere that truly added to the experience. It was the perfect setting for both our reception and the extended stay for our guests.
The staff were incredibly kind, accommodating, and always had a smile on their faces. Any request we had was met with enthusiasm and a genuine desire to help, which made the entire experience so much more enjoyable and stress-free. Special thanks to Emma, Connor, Fera, Taylor, Jade, and Didi—your exceptional service made our wedding and the getaway truly unforgettable. You were not only professional but also so lovely to work with!

Our wedding at The Lodge was without a doubt the most magical and special day of our lives. The venue itself is stunning and the day ran beautifully.

However, the communication from The Lodge, especially after the wedding, was absolutely atrocious. Their policy states that the bond is to be returned within 21 days post-wedding. It took them 70 days to return a partial bond, and a shocking 110 days to finally provide an explanation for the deduction.

We sent numerous emails and made multiple phone calls during this time. Staff repeatedly told us they’d get back to us but never did. Emails were routinely ignored and no one seemed to take responsibility for our concerns. In the end, we had no choice but to escalate the matter and submit complaints to NSW Fair Trading and the ACCC due to the complete lack of response.

Once we finally spoke to a staff member, they themselves admitted that the process had been poorly handled and not up to standard. I even had to beg to receive an invoice for our bond return, something that should have been automatic.

We are incredibly disappointed in how we were treated and it has left a bitter taste after what should have been a purely joyful time. While The Lodge is a beautiful venue, I would seriously reconsider booking if you value professional service and peace of mind. It is infuriating to be expected for payment for a year in the lead-up to your wedding only to then have to chase them for months just to get your own money back.

Do not recommend unfortunately.

We recently had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding weekend at The Lodge Jamberoo, and we can honestly say it was everything we dreamed of and more! From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome and at home. From our first viewing we knew this venue was the one! The grounds are breathtaking, the accommodation is beautiful and comfortable, and every corner of the property feels like it was made for celebrating love.

One of the highlights of the weekend was how seamless everything felt. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, allowing us and our guests to fully relax and enjoy the celebration. From the welcome drinks on Thursday to the recovery day on Saturday, every moment was thoughtfully curated and executed with care.

The ceremony space among the trees was absolutely magical, and the reception area was perfect for dancing the night away. The food was exceptional, and we received so many compliments from our guests about the quality of the meals, the service, and the overall vibe of the venue for the weekend!

What made it truly special was the way The Lodge gave us space to create a weekend that felt unique to us. Having all our closest friends and family stay together in such a beautiful, peaceful place was incredibly meaningful.

Thank you to everyone at The Lodge Jamberoo for making our wedding weekend unforgettable. We’ll always be grateful for the memories we made and we cannot wait to be back to enjoy a weekend and visit Lulus!

It was a very dreamy place. A perfect place for a wedding. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. I loved the variety of paintings in the restaurant, very artistic. Very peaceful place, lots of plants and trees. Best for a vacation away the busy city life. Clean amenities esp the rooms. Altho gaming area is a bit old, billiards table not working, table tennis rackets are dilapidated.

Only downside is that signal is unavailable in the resort. Although they provide wifi, I just hope I am able to use my own phone to make calls. It was frustrating when the electricity went out, because we don't have any access to wifi and data.

Overall, a serene place in Jamberoo.

I loved everything about this experience. From the professional and friendly staff to the immaculate grounds and the stunning decor. The food was amazing and so well thought out. It has been an incredibly disheartening check in experience. Brent McInnes (General Manager) will talk over you and be argumentative, despite a written note saying they are stoked to have you and want to make your stay perfect. The customer experience is tainted, to say the least.

The rooms look dated, tired and quite frankly, not up to the mark. For a premium amount charged, you will be exposed to a substandard offering.

You are welcomed by construction so put on a mask! And this is just check in…what will the remainder of our stay involve? Stay tuned.

Further edit: see Brent's reply below as they continue to be argumentative. Brent did not go over and above for the family, they raised their voice at us and refused to budge. No measly birthday gift or breakfast basket will make up for a substandard customer experience. We didn't require an upgrade or special consideration - all we asked for was a family room which the email booking confirmation stipulated. Any discrepancies with another booking platform is not the customer's responsibility, it is The Lodge's.

The Lodge took our money and gave us a terrible TERRIBLE room. You will see all the good reviews here are from wedding guests for their wedding event. The rooms are old and worn down. There was no early check in provided - we were there 3pm on the dot and construction was going on. The bathrooms are old and falling apart, not cleaned well. It's not a nice room to live in for $400 a night. Take your business elsewhere.

We were just at a function this weekend with our 2 children and Wow!!! What a beautiful location. The staff were beyond incredible, so helpful and the attention to detail was amazing. The food was outstanding too!
We didn’t want to leave but will definitely be back.
