The food is tasty as! The flank steak was definitely the highlight (we were mopping up the broth until the end of our meal!), but everything was very enjoyable. Unique, excellent-quality pub grub at it's best! I highly recommend you dine at the Lass!

we popped in on a Thursday night, which greeted us with some live jazz. Sat down and were greeted with a new mexican menu - which all looked fantastic. Scoffed down some tacos and grilled chicken which was delicious. The pub is looking so good, the staff are great. You gotta go check it out!

Found this little pub by chance and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be.
Whilst the food is not your normal 'pub food' it is most definitely delicious.
The staff are so friendly, the beer is cold, and to top it off, you can take your furbabies in with you.
Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for live music too.

Fantastic slightly out of the way pub. Lots of old school charm and the Latin American food was superb. Some of the best pub food I've had in years, and half the price of places in Sydney serving worse quality fare. Highly recommended.

Ordered a Cubano (Cuban) Sandwich which was missing grilled Swiss cheese but had guacamole and oddly chicken in it. The pork was roasted when it's much better if it's shredded. The chips and the seasoning were very nice but the sandwich was easily the worst Cuban I've ever had and quite small too. Good news for Novacastrians is that Double Duck Smokehouse that sells genuine Cubans and tastes substantially better is only a kilometre or so away

My absolute favourite place in Newcastle. Feel at home and safe whilst enjoying a beer and some killer vegan food. Not to mention, enjoy dropping in for one of their many awesome events.
