We visited The Lakes Hotel based on the glowing reviews and their enticing Wednesday special ($17 rump steak). It truly lived up to the hype! The service was exceptionally friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. The Wednesday special was fantastic, and my son had the brisket pie, which was outstanding.

We’re locals and regulars. Had the daily special (Snitty). Size and flavour were the normal great (great value too). Service of the food was a little slow tonight. Staff , as always were friendly and helpful.

Food in this venue is not only delicious but fairly priced for such high quality meals. Thanks Annie - Teigen - Lisa and the lady with short hair…” I forget her name”. A lovely team worthy of some true recognition. Cheers !

First time visitor. Staff were amazingly friendly. Tegan & Annie were kind, and really helpful.
The atmosphere is fantastic, you're in a pub/hotel but it doesn't feel like you are. My husband loves a bar and also enjoyed it so it's great for everyone!
Food was quick, delicious & so affordable!
We will definitely return and bring friends with is.

Great food and fabulous service.
I had the chilli prawn linguine which was amazing. The others at my table had steaks and burgers which they said were exceptional. The serves are extremely generous too.

Whenever we come up for a weekend at The Entrance we always come to The Lakes Hotel for dinner. The meals are always delicious, generous, well priced, good quality & come out in a timely manner. The staff are attentive, hardworking, friendly and always speak with customers. We love The Lakes Hotel, we recommend the place and bring family and friends here. Five stars

What a great atmosphere, service and meal. A nice setting as you enter, staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and well appointed. We had Beer Battered Flathead and Thai Beef Salad. Both were tasty, large servings and served relatively quickly. We will be back The Lakes.

Went on a busy Saturday night for food. 5 meals out way quicker than expected. Massive portions and all tasted great, best food I’ve had in a long time. Tegan was great welcoming and checked in how everything was.
