I wish I had checked the reviews before deciding to have lunch here. The place has a nice ambiance, and the menu seemed appealing when we ordered online, but once the food arrived, it looked average at best. My in-law’s rotisserie chicken was dry and lacked flavor. The steak was decent, but the dozen fresh oysters weren’t as fresh as we expected. We’ve had better parmi at a local pub. Perhaps the large size of the restaurant means they need to rush food out, but given the price, it didn’t seem worth it. The service from the staff was great, but the food didn’t leave a good impression.

None of us finished the food ordered. Very weird cream sauce, chicken tasted like just got out from the freezer. Grilled chicken somehow like boiled chicken. With that prices you can do better or we should try somewhere else.

Horrible foid, give it a miss. The refriderated yesterdays salad with a side of chicken was extremly underwhelming. The medium rare steak was still mooing. The only good thing was the chips and gravy. We won't be back ever!

I recently had lunch at The Komo and was thoroughly impressed. The highlight of my meal was their Signature Glaze, which was cooked exactly to my request, perfectly done and full of flavor. The attention to detail in preparation and the quality of the ingredients truly stood out. I’ll definitely be returning to try more from their menu.

I came here during breakfast to make the most of a promotional special, brekky burger and coffee. It was affordable and good value. I was here on a weekday morning so the food arrived very fast, faster than Maccas. 🍔 ☕️

Recently had lunch at The Komo and enjoyed at good steak, cooked well how I requested. My server that looked after my table was very friendly and polite. Her name was Anna so thank you for your attention.

Lunch here was unexceptional, the food arrived fairly quickly but was cold and not that appetising because of that. Staff were lovely though and the surrounds were well kept. A busy venue that caters to big crowds in peak times. Overall not too good but not too bad and we would give it another shot before making a final decision. Street parking is difficult to find at busy times especially on the weekends as the Redcliffe markets are on as well.

Came here for lunch with a close friend recently. We ordered the same thing each. 1/2dozen kilpatrik oysters and calamari entree. The food was ok and edible but not amazing. I have definitely had better.
The 2 plates of calamari looked completely different. Mine looked fresh and plump, and my friends looked dark and not as nice. Also my friends' oysters came out cold still where as mine were hot. They were ok but mostly just bbq sauce and bacon, definitely not traditional Kilpatrick with whisrstashire sauce and crispy bacon.
The staff were nice, although there was limited interaction. The place has a great vibe. But I just didn't feel the type of quality as it could have been. Great potential but misses the mark slightly. But it was clean and fresh, and the portion sizes are fantastic so that counts for something it just wasn't so amazing that I would race back for a special trip.
