We had a smart modern room, balcony overlooking the pool and bar. Service at the rooftop bar was slow on Saturday night as so many people ordering cocktails. Great music all weekend, day and night, lively young vibe. Good food and variety. Smack in the middle of Surfers, couldn't be more central.

It was a last minute booking we made (secured the deal for the last available room at that price) and it was the best decision we made! We had to leave our airbnb due to room cleanliness concerns. Really great central location and lovely room, with great amenities. We enjoyed the proximity to shops nearby. The room size was suitable for up to 4 pax, along with the provision of amenities such as body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The complimentary snacks and beverage packets provided in the room upon check-in were a great touch, and we even got a refill on the chips (they were a great hit with my friends) on our second day. Thank you for providing a great and welcoming experience and I’ll be considering staying here should I visit Gold Coast again.

Staff were lovely and attentive. |Upon check in we went to the room and it had not been cleaned. Towels were left all over the bathroom and the beds were unmade. Staff were very responsive and apologetic. They upgraded us to the perfect room and provided some vouchers which was very much appreciated.|Staff mentioned that there was new housekeeping management where I appreciate teething issues are understandable. |Would definitely stay again. |I would like to note that driving into The Island was distressing and took a few goes. Even staff said they had issues when they first went to drive in. You need to drive over the tram lines to enter the premises and I think it would be safe and good for The Island to describe this upon booking.

The location is very central and convenient, close to tram, beach and lots of activities booked for my teenage kids. Complimentary minibar items are a big surprise for us. By reading other’s review comments, I think we should get two bottles of milk instead of one. But It’s not a big deal for us we drink green tea only without adding milk. A bit noisy from the street at night, but once the balcony door is closed it’s all right. We didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant downstairs as we only stayed for one night and booked buffet meals elsewhere… definitely will be back to try next time. Customer service is nice, too. Staff is very friendly at the reception, offering us early check-in.

5 stars all the way. We had our event there and it was effortlessly easy. Ella and the team made it a breeze to organise my event & help run it on the night. Our guests had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. The food was amazing! It was worth every cent and we will be back for our next event for sure! Best place on the coast

Great service. Rooms are fantastic. Any query is met with a swift and informative response with them being more than helpful. Fantastic in terms of being central to where we wanted to go. On arrival we were met with help to find our way to service desk as soon as we were spotted looking a little lost and was walked to lifts. We enjoyed our stay, the service annd staff were impeccable and would stay again in a heartbeat. Thankyou ♥️✨

The location is close to the beach and very nice cafes and restaurants around. Booked 2 rooms for eight people, rooms were in decent condition but bathrooms need upgrade. Both bathrooms had sliding door without locks and no exhaust system in one of the bathrooms while other had very slow centralised exhaust duct.

We had our EOFY Celebration for work at the Pool Deck last night, the service, food and presentation was outstanding. Great work! Special shout out to Emma who helped us put it together and Molly and her team that hosted it last night. Appreciate it, great experience!
