I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding here on Saturday. it was an absolute pleasure. the staff were all so friendly and certainly catered and tended to the happy couples special day and not so very common these days they actually look after their suppliers on the day too.
of you want a venue that is very much client orientated then take a look at this lovely little gem !

We had our wedding reception here on the 23rd August and all we can say is WOW. The staff were absolutely amazing and Dawn especially went above and beyond to help make the day as special as it was. Food was incredible, and nothing was too much trouble. From booking to getting to our big day, the communication was easy, all stress was taken away and we cannot thank each and every person involved enough ❤️

We were lucky enough to have our wedding here a couple of weeks ago and cannot recommend the venue, or it's wonderful staff, more highly!

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a gorgeous, accessible layout, and the most incredible views. It fully met the "surrounded by greenery with lots of natural light" that we wanted for our day!

The food was absolutely delicious, with the lovely, friendly chef ensuring that our entirely vegetarian wedding was catered to, as well as any other dietary requirements being more than met. We've had lots of feedback from the guests that they felt included with their requirements and that the food was super tasty! A true testament to the skills of the kitchen team (and we highly recommend the lemon tart for dessert)!

Every single staff member was friendly, polite, welcoming, and helpful, from the day we were looking to book our wedding, to our actual big day. Special shout out to Dawn who worked with us the night before while we set up, and was there during our big day. She was instrumental in making sure our day ran smoothly, and a real source of reassurance any time that either of us felt unsure on what was next or what best to do, leaving us to just enjoy our time there. All our suppliers mentioned Dawn specifically, saying how approachable, friendly and helpful she was to make sure they could work to their full potential too. She even got our shy little girl to feel comfortable enough to walk round with her, and included to the point where she felt just as important as we were. Absolutely nothing was too much, and we cannot thank her enough for everything she did.

We genuinely think that The Hawthorns might be the best wedding venue out there, and we cannot wait to come back soon for a Sunday lunch and catch up with the gorgeous team here.

What can we say about the Hawthorns other than that they deserve every one of the five stars and more. From the first viewing to the gorgeous breakfast we've had this morning and our amazing wedding day inbetween, this place is outstanding. All the staff are fantastic, the food is great and the venue is perfect for a wedding with it's stunning views and elegant decor. Special thanks to Kirsty and Dawn, whose communication is superb from start to finish, and to Jordan and Dawn for all their hard work in making the the drop off, set up and pick up of all our decorations run seamlessly. Dawn, what would we have done without you on the day? Nothing was too much trouble, you looked after, not just me and Gaz, but our whole family - so that we could enjoy every minute without any worries. Absolute superstar!
If you're looking for the perfect venue then this is it. If we could do it all over again tomorrow we would. You'll see us for Sunday dinner soon.

We had a fabulous day @The Hawthorns for my father in laws 85th birthday party. Staff were so helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Special mentions for Amy and Dawn for going the extra mile, so appreciated. Buffet was amazing, everyone really enjoyed it, especially the samosas.
Can’t recommend highly enough, we will definitely be back. Thanks for making Frank’s day extra special

The staff at the hawthorns made our wedding day the most perfect day of our lives.
We found them really friendly and approachable whilst also remaining professional and getting the job done!
The day flowed seamlessly. This is due to the help from Kirsty with organising us on where to start, as it was extremely overwhelming. No question was a stupid question and she put us at ease reassuring us with everything!
Freyja also helped with responding to our emails promptly & investigating anything we had any queries with. Always going above and beyond where possible!
Not forgetting Dawn who’s personality just really made us feel at home! The communication and prefessionalism between the 3 of them really showed on the day. Everything discussed was executed perfectly, and all the food was fantastic (defo have pizza for the evening if you can!)
All of our guests complimented how beautiful the room was, how lovely the staff were.
We couldn’t have wished for a better day. And couldn’t be more grateful to the team at the Hawthorns. Thank you so much once again guys for making our day so special

More people need to have there wedding here! We were so impressed by the venue and staff. Our day was AMAZING!! The food was gorgeous, the staff were so friendly and professional and listened and accommodated all the things we wanted to do for our big day. Couldn't recommend these guys enough! Thank you x
