My favourite local pub. Dog friendly as well!
Plenty of seating and there's a covered outdoor area too where dogs are allowed.
Daily specials if you're stuck on what to cook for dinner.
Staff are always friendly and the pub is always neat and tidy.

This is my local, but the service from the staff seems quite transactional. I don’t feel particularly welcome here for someone who regularly turns up. I pretty much get the treatment of stranger with no warmth whatsoever.

About the food, normally it is decent pub fare but on my most recent visit, it seems like they have bumped up the price for their daily special for a sirloin steak with fries to $19.90 and have lowered the quality to a thin and cheaper looking steak. Disappointing.

We had an event here recently and it’s perfect! The food was superb, the staff helpful, warm and courteous. Security top notch and the room is fabulous. Shame about the complaining neighbour because really it’s just people having a good time - and I doubt it would be late. 100 percent would book again

Update: Thanks good beer company for responding to my previous experience with a voucher. Service and food were great tonight with our family. We’ll be back.

Yes they were busy tonight but an hour plus wait for totally overpriced meals wasn't fun. Twice it was politely brought to the bar staff's attention but unfortunately they were not supported by management intervention. $28 for overcooked fish and undercooked chips see below not fit to eat. The dear old harold wont be on my go to list.

I was just out for a walk and hadn’t been to the Harold park hotel so I stopped in for lunch.
The chicken was cooked perfectly.
The tomato base was a bit plain but the cheese was really nicely done.
The chips are just shoestring fry’s and went cold quick. They only had sashays of salt and pepper.
A good serve of coleslaw but only olive oil for dressing thank goodness for the lemon wedge. All in all a good feed.

Eat there regularly. Food great. Just a few suggestions, the fries go cold very quick, perhaps thicker chips would be a better option. Also your’e the only pub/club or restaurant I’ve been to that doesn’t serve garlic bread, should be a must. Thanks

Great space I wish I had discovered sooner! And praise be - they don’t close the kitchen!! (Unlike the surrounding pubs who close their kitchens 3-5pm). Upstairs balcony area wasn’t opened, but inside has a nice natural air flow. Nice staff.

I love my Sunday roast and that is why we came, unfortunately the roast lamb was not the best with more uncooked fat than meat. In saying that the other food looks good so will try again with the roast chicken
