This was our second time staying here and on the face of it it’s a lovely quiet place to rest and relax on a long weekend. However this time we discovered there was no hot water when we arrived on the Friday afternoon or Friday night again no hot water on Saturday and absolutely no hot water on Sunday morning to have a shower. One of us was lucky enough to have a shower with flick water on occasions however the others for attempts to have a shower was met with lukewarm water ant best, but overall cold water. This was pretty disappointing and while we know that there is cold weather with temperature down to 3 and 4 overnight, nonetheless weI would’ve expected that accommodations would’ve been made to ensure guess had access to warm water at all times. When we were leaving we felt pressured to be out in time at 10 despite the fact we were delayed over an hour waiting for hot water so I could have a shower. I ended up having to have a makeshift shower so it was pretty disappointing weekend. When we brought the issue to the attention of managers they advised there was an issue with the cold weather in the pipes freezing however there was no follow-up. There was no CARE or consideration to see if there was hot water their room. We won’t be staying here again Because I have to say I’m not a fan of having a shower or having a cold shower at best. If I was a manager, I would have followed up to ensure that the guests where I want to shower and have access to water and be comfortable and if I was not able to provide a basic amenities such as hot water then I’d be providing some type of refund to the guests out of common decency and courtesy for their inconvenience.

Finally, we found somewhere clean in Bendigo to stay that didn't cost a fortune. While it was a smallish room, the bed was very large and comfortable, the bathroom was huge with a great shower. Everything looks very new and modern.
It was very relaxing in the morning to sit by the pool and enjoy a cup of coffee.
The staff were very friendly. They do have a 'no children' policy. So there was no screaming or annoying sounds.
We will definitely be staying again, and next time, I hope to use the pool there.

Great motel!
We rode here on the o’keefe rail trail. Great price, lovely staff, clean rooms, comfy bed, and good wifi. The staff also said we could put our bikes in the room which was great peace of mind. Highly recommend! We’ll be back for sure

Spent a total of 3 nights here. My partner left an honest review, nothing nasty was said and apparently the owner took it personally and proceeded to privately DM her on Booking.com.

My sick 70yr old mother stayed here overnight before attending a doctor’s appointment.
The attendant at reception was reluctant to give my mother a receipt for her stay, claiming “My wife knows how to do that but it’s Mother’s Day and I don’t want to bother her with that”.
She was also unable to figured out the tv remote and there were no instructions.
My mother was called by this property and abused over the phone for giving them a 2 star rating on Booking.com.
Bullies in business.

Not family friendly.
"Children are not allowed on site."
We travel a fair bit and often call to request 1 Q and 1 S bed as our small children like to share beds or sleep with us. Not once in 6 years have we been told, "You can't just do that. You have to ask for a Q and 2 S"
Every other place up and down Australia has had no issue, and we would understand and pay the extra, hence the call, but her tone was awful. After reading reviews, I'm glad we were declined.

Interesting little cottage, very old and rustic. But not well maintained. Not much maintenance done recently. Greasy dust on fan, kitchen light and on top of all the kitchen cupboards. Washing machine disgusting. Very expensive also.
