The Location was great, beautiful views. Pool was great. rooms were okay but when i comes to the service it was absolutely terrible, the amount we paid vs the way we were treated was terrible, we had storage on top of the car therefore we couldn't park in the garage and we had two apartments so we just parked in front of the garage doors for our apartments and we got in trouble and told to park on the street, mind you there was more than enough room for all the cars to get past you could even fit a truck through there but that wasn't good enough and the "parking police' sent us messages we ended up having to remove the top storage to park in the garage. we then got told to turn the lights off even though we were in there and weren't even checking out that day. Paid too much for every single move to be controlled. as we were packing up an old man told us to move even tho we just moved out to put the pod on the roof of the car there was more than enough room to get past. if you want to have fun and enjoy a holiday go somewhere else

Location is great and checking in out of hours was pre-arranged without issue, but staying there with friends for two nights we were all disappointed because the room was not clean (i.e. dusty, and mould in bathrooms behind the door, on walls, and in grout, rat poo in garage). The room smelled unclean too, and furnishings were also old and worn, which, if the room and bathrooms were clean would not have caused me to take issue. But when I pay to stay somewhere, my bare minimum requirement is cleanliness. Sorry to the managers, but it needs to improve. Would not stay here ever again.

Close to the Pumistone Passage, The Gums Anchorage is a lovely location to stay on Bribie Island. Its shady trees and lawns provide a charming setting. The apartments are white, bright with all the items you’ll need and each one has its own garage. Highly recommended. A pool and sauna complete your leisure experience.

Wow! What I thought would be a great peaceful get away for the husband and our two young ones turned out to be the biggest pain in the back! The location is wonderful and the man who runs the place was the absolute sweetest with great customer service and was very helpful and much appreciated. Although, the lady was quick and snappy and just wanted us out of her face like we were a problem. besides the bad encounter as we first entered the place, with the lady the room overall was a nightmare. All 4 of us have woken up with headaches and runny noses and in a hurry to get out. Did not feel inviting at all the rooms were dirty and and filled with dust not a single table had been wiped down and as we were taking a picture frame down as it was scaring our children you know how kids can be. there were chocolate wrappers stashed behind the photo frame! The coaches were covered in dirt and the table outside OH MY GOODNESS it was disgusting! My husband went to take a shower in the morning to get rid of his runny nose and the shower would not turn off we had to listen to continuously dripping sounds whilst we packed to get out of there! Although the visit was terrible here it didn’t stop there. once we left I thought I could move on and just never return here but we were then asked for more money from the apartment as they gave us too big of a room with two extra beds which were not used! This is not our fault as we asked for what we paid for and you decided to give us an extra room. Do better!

Our apartment was a stylish & very comfortable unit. Swimming pool & tennis court were close by.the view was absolutely breathtaking. The staff & residents were super friendly & the shopping precinct wasn’t far at all.

The only nice thing about this place is Shay the reception lady, she is awesome.
The unit 16 is absolutely nothing like the pictures on the website. It was also ment to be a one bedroom but its a 2 bedroom apartment. Not what we booked for. Main bedroom has no aircon, oh sorry it has a old portable thing on wheels your expected to fill with ice and water every 2 hrs but temp never goes under 29, and the plastic blinds don't fit the windows so the outside light shine thru all night and when the sun is up...so are you. Fire alarm 'ping' every few hrs...so lovely to listen to all night...not.
Furniture is so old and needs replacing and this is definitely not worth the $534.60 we paid for 2 nights.
Curtains in lounge are so disgusting and dirty and in need of a wash. No power points in ensuite so no food for hair dryers ect. Very simple no frills bathrooms to be fair. Would not recommend this place. Old, dark and horrible. Definitely false advertising to get people to book and then no refund policy makes you stuck here.
Nope, never again.

What a fantastic place to stay for a holiday.
We discovered this hidden gem and are now addicted!
Very spacious room, with modern kitchen and bathrooms.
The resort style swimming pool is absolutely gorgeous. The gardens and grounds are so well maintained, a credit to the gardener.
And the beach is literally right across the road.
All this and it doesn't break the budget to stay here.
Have just returned home and we are going to book our next stay so we don't miss out!
