My friend and I had lunch here on a Saturday, we looked at several places before deciding on The Green Olive, we chose them initially because of their menu choices and prices but once we walked in the door we were both pleased that it was also clean and not cramped.
We were greeted by Amanda and Kiara who were both friendly and polite, my friend likes very simple food and asked for a dish to be adapted to her own liking, as we’d had mixed reactions from the other places we had looked at we were expecting a scoff and a no but these lovely people could not have been more accommodating. The chef went out of his way to make my friend food that she had requested to be made off the menu without any fuss. I could not have been more impressed with their hospitality.

I highly recommend The Green Olive, the food is both delicious and fresh, with large portions. My eggs were poached perfectly! It’s reasonably priced, clean and comfortable with happy welcoming people.
The menu selection is also great, I had trouble deciding which dish I wanted to try more as they all sounded delicious. I will definitely be returning to try the shakshuska a perfect menu listing for a cold winter day!
I will be recommending The Green Olive to everyone and I recommend it to you too!
Great work guys, we were really impressed with everything and we both give you 5 stars 🌟

Stop here for a late lunch on Friday. The service was great and the risotto even better. I like the snuggly blankets to go over the knee too.

The food is always fantastic and very reasonably priced .
We were there for breakfast this morning and it was very busy.
I have to say that the staff are awesome!
They are very friendly, even when under pressure, and deserve a pat on the back from the boss.

Great place to eat in central Bendigo. On a bit of a flying visit from Geelong for 1 night and we had lunch here yesterday and breakfast today. Lovely food both times and great service. If you're in the area and fancy a coffee and a snack it is well worth coming here.

I had decided what I wanted to order before I arrived (the menu is online). I waited at the counter to order. The lady asked me if I was eating in or take away. I said eating in and she told me to take a menu and have a seat. I sat down with the menu expecting to be served. I waited 25 minutes before the lady said come up to the counter to order. Apart from that misunderstanding, the coffee and food didn’t take too long to come out and tasted amazing!

The Green Olive quickly became our go to place for awesome coffee, delicious breakfasts and the staff are wonderfully friendly and personable - one of the pleasures of visiting a good cafe is great staff.

The almond milk coffee's are smooth and full flavoured and very moreish, highly recommended.

Inside, the space is light and airy, pretty in shades of green and white with sparkly fairy lights with big picture windows to sit in and watch people go by.

Breakfasts are great from the heart shaped pancakes to chia pudding bowls and bacon and eggs, well worth a visit. Thank you so much!

We just hopped in here in desperation due to there being no eateries near the Frida Kahlo exhibition and the Gallery Cafe was hopelessly overcrowded. Being short on time owing to a timed entry ticket for the exhibition, we asked for some simple sandwiches with tea and they came out very promptly enabling us to enjoy them. It saved out day.
