Can fault the place. Managed to book in the day before a public holiday over the Easter period. Took my son to Gladstone to see coal trains (his special interest) and to our suprise we were given a room with an incredible view of the hard working trains below also able to have full views of the ocean and large ships. We caught a gorgeous sunrise this morning, watching it peek over the horizon.

I'm not sure why the bad review's talk about the rooms because the one we booked was immaculate. Plenty of towels, not a speck of dust, all of the amentities worked perfect, a nice touch with the vanity packet's in the bathroom. And omg, The incredible rain shower heads were to super lux with great pressure and heat.

Super easy to get to the room from the car park, beautiful friendly staff from the service desk all the way up to the room attendants.

We ate half of gladstone, no shortage of great food eateries just outside your door step.

Good value. Rooms refurbished. Good restaurant Helpful reception staff. The town is very quiet. Needs a kick start. By 8:00 pm everyone’s gone home to bed. I think they like to dine at 5:00 pm. Strange.

I recently stayed at The Gladstone Hotel and had an overall pleasant experience.

Pros:

The hotel is conveniently located in the CBD, making it easy to access supermarkets, pubs, and cafes, even on a Sunday. This was incredibly convenient for my stay.
My room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay.
The pool was great, and I appreciated the ample parking spaces available.

Areas for Improvement:

A couple of lights in my room were not functioning, which was slightly inconvenient.
While the room was clean, I noticed that the air exhaust outlet in the toilet was quite dusty. It would be good for the cleaning staff to check and vacuum these areas.
The room’s soundproofing could be improved. Conversations from neighboring rooms, as well as rooms across the hallway, were audible, which was disruptive, especially at night.

Unfortunately, the hotel’s restaurant was closed during my stay, so I can’t comment on that.

Thank you for the hospitality, and I hope these suggestions are helpful for enhancing guest experiences in the future.

Very clean room with exceptionally comfy bed.|Enquired at reception of the make as it was so good.|They said Go to Ridges website (Hotel was originally Ridges) and near the bottom will be the name of the bed. Dream bed.|Great hot and strong shower.

Was an easy enjoyable stay. Great access to eateries. The staff were very polite and efficient. Rooms clean and comfortable. I was staying for work lfor 3 days and when you are away working it makes it so much more enjoyable when its hassle free and all you have to worry about getting the work done. Didn't have any issues.

A great little getaway to gladstone. Friendly staff from counter to room attendants. A nice clean facility with a gorgeous shower and bathroom. Close to all of the down town eateries, and easy access to the car park. Will absolutely be back.

Reception Staff were terrific, polite and patient. Alix is an excellent Customer Service Practitioner.|Pity Restaurant was closed again, that's twice I've had to make other arrangements.|Enjoyed a relaxing dip in the well maintained pool in the evening.

Charged for standard water bottle which is complementary normally everywhere in the world… not much facilities available in this hotel and you can hear noise from neighbouring rooms pretty easy. Overall you can find better accommodation with similar budget in the area.
