Wonderful new accommodation conveniently located on the corner of Jetty Road and Colley St at Glenelg. Room was well appointed, enjoyed watching the sun rise over the hills and the shower was great offering both a detachable and rain shower head. Would absolutely return. ||||Car park has a steep entry with a sharp corner so is a little tight if you're in a larger vehicle but we had no trouble in a toyota camry.

Obviously a new hotel so the beds are super comfy. Would've made for a great nights sleep except for the external street noise. Being a new build, not sure why they didn't consider better acoustic insulation.
Should inform guests that rooftop is still under construction and not accessible.
We spent 6 nights in Mosely family room with our 2 teenage girls. Open bathroom design is not ideal in this shared situation as there is no privacy.
The balcony could do with a good clean, including the glass sliding doors. It was not a very inviting space to sit.

The rooms are spacious and modern with the most comfortable beds and softest pillows which your body can gently sink in to for comfort to doze off. The shower and its facilities are sensational . Great balcony views of Glenelg and provides adjoining bedrooms for families. Very clean and tidy with also providing a wide range of hot beverages and a really big cool fridge to create your own drink bar. The roof top bar is sensational too. My family and I would stay here again on our next travels. Perfect location in Glenelg and excellent customer service to make our stay welcomed!

Beautiful new spot opened up like 6 months ago! Still got the brand new smell (avoid if you don’t like it but you CANT smell it in the rooms)
Staff were super friendly and polite. Good location walking distance to eateries and the beach!
Would recommend! Really enjoyed it!

The view from our window looking towards the ocean with the Ferris wheel was absolutely stunning!

The room was fitted with luxurious high-end fittings and small touches as well, making the stay feel extra pampered.

Great access to all the street amenities and the hotel entrance juts off the main street made it sop easy to access, no matter how busy the main street was.

All in all, fantastic all around! Highly recommended!

Had the pleasure of staying at The George a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t have been more impressed. From the warm and friendly check-in to the beautifully appointed rooms and stunning views, everything was top-notch.

The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of Glenelg, just a stone’s throw from the jetty and tram stop.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend The George to anyone visiting the area.

We booked into the hotel and was greeted by Peter the manager and we were chatting with him about our booking and for no reason at all he upgraded us to a suite overlooking the square. He also helped us with our on-site parking.
The service was fantastic and the property is excellent.
We would recommend your stay at Glenelg be at The George and we will most definitely be back.

Hotel is only a month old when we stayed, it still had that formaldehyde smell if you are concerned. We got a free upgrade to supreme king. There was some markings on the bedding being a new hotel, but it was comfortable with a balcony. Remember to inform reception before 9am if you want housekeeping, which is a bit early for a beach side hotel. The major concern was noise. It does get very noisy at night with the balcony glass not being double glaszed. There is also free parking after 5pm if you are able to find a spot.
