We enjoyed our stay at the apartment (No. 1) with an added bedroom, peaceful setting, well maintained gardens, Balanese furniture and pool. Alison and Peter gave us lots of information on the scenic drives, history of the property and local area. It is one of the most environmentally conscious places we have ever stayed. First we saw the solar battery outside then saw containers for recycles, coffee pods and compost. We will book to stay at The Figs next time we visit Byron area.

Just perfect. Too many positives to list them all. The room was comfortable and clean with all the things one would need. Amazing tea selection, relaxing gardens and pool area, and friendly hosts. It was so quiet we felt like we were the only people staying there. Highly recommend.

I was fortunate to stumble upon this gem of accommodation within the Byron Shire and also for them to accommodate me at late notice on a Sunday afternoon.
Whilst in the Byron area for work, I found The Figs. Staying in the 1 bedroom apartment with atrium style spiral staircase for 2 nights.
Room facilities were very very well presented from a functional kitchen with coffee maker, lounge dining room with television to a relaxing and comfortable King Size bed on the top floor. Impeccably clean and with anything/everything one would need.
Wonderful property. Excellent facilities both in room and across property. Including marvellous pool. Tranquil settings on the hills above Mullum, Byron and Bruns. Quiet, yet convenient. to everything.
Very professional and sophisticated, yet down to earth owner/operators. People who convey, in a business, what one would envisage (and should be proud of) the personality of the area.

The only concern I could have would be sharing how much of a gem The Figs is, and letting the secret out!

My partner and I stayed in apartment 3 at The Figs for 2 nights last week.
From the moment we drove up the drive way, our experience was one of pleasure. The place is nestled amongst beautiful gardens with amazing views sweeping down and out to the mountains.
Our nights were spent sipping beers on our outside porch enjoying the garden and views. The apartment was well thought out, styled beautifully.
By day, we took in the hinterland which is stunningly beautiful, exploring the towns along the way.
Peter and Alison were delightful, offering insight in to the local points of interest and also any queries we had regarding the apartment. Chatting to them on our departure, it was obvious that they're passionate about their gardens and about recycling. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back if our travels allow it.

The Figs is a gorgeous property, with an amazing garden, with an abundance of birds views over mount Chincogan. The apartment is a fabulous design, with a super comfy bed, excellent furnishings, and a small kitchen suitable to prepare basic meals. The apartment was spotless when we moved in. It is a very comfortable place to spend a week. ||The location is between Brunswick Heads and Mullumbimby, the latter with several good places to get a meal (Brunswick Heads was largely closed for dinner). As the roads to both are busy, walking is not recommended, which made us very car dependent. As the property is close to the Pacific Hwy and Hinterland, there is easy access to both beaches and rainforest. The downside to this is some traffic noise, which is unobtrusive, but simply makes it less tranquil than otherwise would be. ||Some minor imperfections. The system automatically took the entire credit card fees on $995 twice (we paid $23 in fees), and the linen change and housekeeping after four days did not eventuate, at which point we could really have done with some fresh towels. The shower gel was empty when we arrived. ||But these are small issues. The hosts are great, very helpful, and with super interesting lives if you manage a chat. Highly recommended, and excellent value for money.

My partner and I were searching on short notice for a place to stay near Byron on our Xmas trip up to the Gold Coast, and couldn't believe our good fortune to find one remaining room at The Figs available for the 2 nights we were going to be in town. Peter and his wife were so friendly and helpful in sharing local tips and their self contained, beautifully furnished and modern chalets are set amidst a private, cultivated and well maintained forest sanctuary with an amazing magnesium pool and spa overlooking the local mountains. You can tell a lot of time and care has gone into making this paradise a reality. Would love to come back again!

We stay 12 night in their 2 bed apartment which is only two years old and very comfortable. The bedrooms are up stairs and very spacious, the in small but it has all you need. The Figs is located about 5min from Brunswick Heads and 5min from Mullumbimby and it’s set on 10 acres of beautiful lush gardens . I throughly recommend a stay at The Figs Byron .
