I came to the hotel for dinner. It was lively and incredibly cosy with a fire roaring and very friendly staff. I had what I think was the best burger of my life here!! (it was the 'banana blossom'-veg option). What's more than this... despite the town actually flooding at the time, the owners were so kind to me and shared advice about possible local campsites for the night. Thank you!

after our van broke down, we needed somewhere last minute to stay. the staff were all really friendly and accommodating, the food was great and the room was exactly what we needed after a stressful day! you get free tea and coffees and kitchenette if you’re staying the night too! also loved the whole vibe of the pub and bistro, would definitely recommend 👍😁

The Family Hotel is a slice of funky culture in Maitland !
With fantastic live music once a month and DJS on Fridays.

Great service and food and a cosy dining room with eclectic sofa's and a cosy fire.
Coffees during the day.
Very kid Friendly as it's Family run.

A true local pub. Incredible unbeatable hospitality, food is unique and delicious. Wines are lovely and organic. Great craft beers. Great events and fun in the form of pinball and pool. A no brainer for a night out in lovely maitland.

Great atmosphere, even better food, and exceptional owners and staff.
Go check it out yourself, and book your next events there too. The outdoor area is perfect for hosting birthdays and other celebrations.

What an amazing experience! Maitland, this is your best kept secret. A beautiful building with a contemporary interior. Friendly staff who became instant friends. Delicious vegan options (salt & vinegar Brussel sprouts?! A revelation). $5 house beer and $12 margs on a Saturday. A huge fire to sit by and a killer playlist. I am so glad we visited, we have found THE best pub around.

We have been coming to the family since relocating to the Maitland area. THIS PLACE is what you are looking for in a pub! The owners Dan, Leah and Alyssa are just amazing and always cater to us with such care. The food is UNREAL and the cocktails are the BEST in the area!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this is Maitlands best pub by a long shot!
