Martin Edwards at the Explorer Society was so organised and efficient and an expert in Africa and South Africa. We felt at ease with him organising our holiday. The Explorer Society is most definately no ordinary travel agency. After becoming overwhelmed and almost giving up on travelling to Africa, I found Cameron Neill from the Explorer Society.
Cameron patiently crafted an itinerary. Throughout the entire process Cameron was always available, nothing was too much trouble and no question too silly. Cannot recommend the team at explorer society enough! Cameron planned an absolutely incredible trip for us, was super helpful and patient. It can get quite overwhelming trying to research and decide on a trip to Africa, but the team took any stress away. We loved every minute of the experience, everything went so smoothly, all accommodation was wonderful, transfers on time with friendly knowledgable guides. Attention to detail was great with clear communication around itinerary etc.

Thank you Martin and Claire for organising our wonderful trip. South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and then to Egypt , an unbelievable experience. A few photos of Africa. A lion trying to find a way down the tree after stealing the impala from the leopards. The other lioness has managed to carry the impala down the tree for the cubs whilst the other one took her time trying to negotiate her trip down the tree. Also the leopard looking disappointed after losing the impala. Sunset over the Chobe river, Victoria Falls and a few other animals.

We just returned from an incredible trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa organised by Cameron from The Explorer Society.
I had nearly given up on our African family trip after dealing with two very unhelpful and agents before I found Cameron. He patiently listened, asked thoughtful questions, provided expert advice and graciously changed the itinerary many times before we decided on a safari camp in Botswana which was perfect for our us.
Everything flight and transfer-wise ran completely seamlessly.
Cannot recommend highly enough if you're looking for a personalised trip with lots of lovely little touches and an agent who is passionate about helping create your dream adventure.

Just home from a fabulous trip to Africa cleverly cobbled together by Martin at The Explorer Society. He joined up three tours including Botswana, Kenya and Rwandan mountain gorillas , each of which were amazing, exciting and seamlessly put together. My guides and drivers were excellent, knowledgeable and great spotters and the lodges were all comfortable, clean and often had the fun of wild animals roaming through the grounds. He was very professional and his attention to detail was just great. After a long lifetime of extensive travelling this African adventure of safaris and the final gorilla encounter were highlights for me . A really wonderful experience, thanks.
