I got married at Casa De Campo in DR May 2024 and couldn’t recommend working with The Eventeur, specifically Masiel who was an expert at all things Casa De Campo, Design and Budget. She planned our welcome party and wedding day and although there was much stress during the events due to weather, Masiel acted quickly and although changes had to happen she made the events even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!

The Eventeur team is amazing to work with and I had a fantastic experience with them planning my wedding in the Bahamas in April 2023.

From the first call I had with Mahla I felt like I was in very capable and caring hands. I appreciated the team’s expertise in destination weddings, they were helpful in guiding my family and I through the process and intricacies of the planning process and were able to answer all our questions about the specifics of a wedding in the Bahamas. I also really appreciated the network of vendors that The Eventeur works with as they recommended our photographer, who was stellar, and were able to recommend a great makeup artist after I initially had a not so great trial with another make up artist. With their experience in destination weddings you can absolutely trust them with your special day. Also a huge shout out and thank you to Ana and Niki who were there with us on the days of the wedding and wedding events, they were professional, great to work with, and absolutely necessary to ensure everything went smoothly through the whole weekend. They executed on everything beautifully and were there to make sure all details were perfect for the set up of the welcome party, assembling of welcome baskets, layout and timeline for the ceremony and reception setup.

This is going to be a long-winded review, because a few sentences just will not do The Eventeur and their team justice! I first found The Eventeur through poking around on social media for destination weddings, as i had no clue where to even start, my husband and I just both knew we wanted a destination wedding. Once i found their page, I reached out to about 10 different brides that they had previously worked with by just randomly sliding into their DMs, hoping i didnt look like a total creep! Not only did all 10 women promptly reply to me, but they all gave BEYOND glowing reviews for working and planning with The Eventeur. The next day, my husband and I immediately reached out to them and requested a booking of their services. From that day forward, the entire planning process was incredibly seamless and actually enjoyable!! (which I am aware a lot of brides do NOT say about wedding planning!) We were completely starting from scratch when we hired them, having no idea where or when we really wanted to get married. They had us fill out a short, yet detailed questionnaire to help us identify possible destinations and dates. After submitting the questionnaire, Mahla and Nikki presented us with ~6 different destination locations that were all insanely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. My husband and I ended up choosing Sanctuary Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic (which i had never been to before!) and it was then we were introduced to Masiel, our locally Dominican based wedding planner, who we now also considered a genuine friend and a true wedding Angel. Her taste and talent is unmatched, and as top-notch professional as she is, she still exuded such a calming and approachable demeanor throughout the entire planning process, up through our wedding week. She worked effortlessly with the hotel and their on-site event coordinator to meticulously plan everything for us - from our site visit, to ours and our guests travel arrangements and accommodations, to florals, to photography, catering, entertainment, literally everything! I don't think there was a day within the 9 months we worked together that i was ever stressed, anxious, or didn't feel at ease with how everything was going to turn out. I simply shared my Pinterest Board with her and she created the most magical week of our lives that we will never forget. Throughout the booking process, i had so many of our guests reach out to me just to tell me how easy everything was to book and what a true god-send Phung was in answering all of their questions and booking every inch of their arrangements with grace and ease. It has now been 3 weeks since getting back from our wedding, and a whole day has not gone by since that I havent received a text from one our guests just saying what an amazing time they had, how impressed they were in the service, ambiance, decor, and repeatedly tell us that even though they were "just a guest", it was the best week of their lives, as well as ours. Even after writing this, i will never truly be able to articulate how eternally grateful we are to The Eventeur team. My husband and I often reflect on everything and reiterate how we would not have changed a single thing - how every portion of our wedding and planning process exceeded every single expectation we had, and how truly special this company and team has become to us, our family, and our friends.

I recently got married on March 26th 2023 at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic and my day was the most magical day of my life. In short - being a Type A bride, someone that asks 10000 different questions, created a PowerPoint and all the different trackers to stay on top of things... I never felt more supported, more comforted in the anxiety of wedding planning and I 100% would hire them again if I could. They made everything super smooth and delivered on everything that was expected of them.

I stumbled onto The Eventeur website in 2021 doing research of my own when we first started the wedding planning process. After the initial consultation, I was left at ease and in great hands. You know when you can just feel the warmth through a conversation? That’s exactly how it felt. They are very upfront with you on what to expect from the planning process and how things are supposed to go. We were supposed to get married in 2022 however we experienced a tragic loss a few days before the wedding that forced us to postpone to our now date March 26th. The Eventeur team took care of everything you can imagine and became an extension of our support system throughout this time. It was incredibly difficult but they assured us every step of the way that our day will be the absolute best and boy they were not wrong.

A few weeks later, we were introduced to a new wedding planner Masiel who newly joined their team that would be our new point of contact in the Dominican Republic. Masiel used to work at Casa de Campo and knew their system in and out, backwards and forwards. Any time we needed her for anything, no matter how big or small, Masiel was with us in lock step and always made us feel like a priority. For a destination wedding we did a welcome party on the beach, a rehearsal dinner for our closest family and wedding party and then the wedding. All of these events took a lot of effort in planning all of the details and décor and it was truly a sight to see her bring our vision to life and create magic!!!! Even our guests were coming up to us to tell us how warm and welcoming she was, patient with answering questions and super professional. She is a professional who loves her job and you can definitely tell with the caliber in which she does things and how much she cares.

Masiel, Mahla, Niki and the rest of the team at The Eventeur are so amazing and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a reliable, honest and professional wedding planning team.

We worked with The Eventeur to plan our wedding in Merida, Mexico in February 2023. Mahla, the owner, was a pleasure to work with up front and understood our vision from the beginning.

From there, we worked with Ana Paula as our wedding planner. Ana was so amazing and spent countless hours making our vision come to life. She planned and coordinated every detail for the rehearsal, welcome drinks, ceremony, reception, and pool party the next day. The Eventeur went above and beyond to help us plan our dream wedding. From start to finish, they help us nail down and execute every detail, big and small; we definitely could not have pulled it off without them.

To start, we worked with Niki and her team to find the perfect location. We knew we wanted a destination wedding, but turned to her and The Eventeur for recommendations, and after discussing lots of amazing options, they helped us pick Antigua, Guatemala, which ended up being the perfect spot for us.

From there, they helped us lock down the ceremony venue (Convento Santa Clara), our wedding reception venue (Villa Bokeh), and our welcome dinner location (El Pensativo Hotel). We then partnered with Geraldine from The Eventeur to help us figure out which vendors to use and she and her team helped us navigate all the complexities with dealing with them, to help ensure that all the decor, music, food etc was just what we needed.

And given The Eventeur also handles travel, they also set up hotel blocks at really beautiful hotels in Antigua, and then handled all coordination with our guests to fill the rooms, helped with airport shuttles, created welcome bags, etc.

And then during the actual wedding weekend itself, both Geraldine and Niki were on site to make sure everything went super smoothly. We were surprised by how little stress we felt during the actual wedding itself, and even though there were a few minor hiccups here and there (which is to be expected when you have 100+ people traveling to a new country), overall there were no major issues and the wedding went perfectly. Our guests were shocked to discover that we (my wife and I) were able to pull off the wedding without even having been in Guatemala before, but that’s only because of the experience and hard work of The Eventeur overseeing it every step of the way.
