The website description and actual accommodation is completely different. I arrived in the town and had to call and wait for attendant to come to the “hotel” and open my room for me. i was given a basic dongga accommodation with a faulty fridge and tv without remote.glad the aircon is working well. no microwave or kettle. at some point someone opened my locked door (i wonder other keys work on the same door). i stayed in my room the whole time until i checked out the next day.

Open from 5pm daily - fantastic service & a nice front bar. My steak sandwich was yummy with REALLY good chips.
In a quiet little town, it’s such a privilege to have a nice pub open/meals daily!

I've written a few reviews in the past, all of them positive however, I'm afraid it isn't the case this time. We travelled to Three Spring for a family gathering and stayed in the motel units.||Clean presentation of the unit although a somewhat slight unaired smell initially. ||The toilet bowl looked to be very stained.||Comfortable double and single beds. One in my sister's room was squeaky though.||Hot shower.||We learned we were in an older unit.||We didn't need to use the air conditioner.||The kettle was almost impossible to fill with water from the basin and my sister had to use the shower to fill hers.||Both overhead wall reading lamps were broken. My sister had one of two lamps also broken.||Shocked to read that checkout was 8:00am - later advised this wasn't the case.||Walls are very "thin". The next door unit had their TV on all night and the noise could be heard. Then, they were up and about very early, talking and packing up and we could hear everything spoken.||There was a motor running very close to the unit which cut in and out. I know you need refrigeration units but it's another new sound to adjust to.||We did not eat at the hotel and no information was given to my husband about any details when he checked in, or later, when he went back to pay, except after he questioned the check out time. ||The cost - $120! Shocked! I'm afraid the price does not reflect the value. Not all patrons are associated with mining companies.||You can pay this price in Perth for 4* accommodation. Disappointed I'm afraid.

The Commercial Hotel is typical of many outback towns, basic but functional. However, the difference with the Commercial is the owner and staff. You could not ask for friendlier and helpful people and this is reflected by the local regulars who seem to enjoy being here. On top of this the food is better than average for such an establishment. All in all a good place for a weary traveller to have a nice cold beer and a tasty meal.

The hotel is typical of the type found in small Australian towns, and gives a foreign visitor an authentic taste of past times. Very little has been done to the interior which these days would be considered rather gloomy, all small windows and dark wood. The bar looks to be original and there is a striking mural on one of the walls.||We were handed keys to accomodation units behind the hotel, which we Brits would describe as temporary units but the Aussy term is donga-style. It looked somewhat unprepossessing to say the least and was stiflingly hot, but the room was quite large and very clean. We turned on the air-con and went for dinner in the hotel. Dinner was fine and the air-con so effective that it got chilly.||The owner ( and locals) were friendly and easy-going. We were told to just open the rear door to the hotel in the morning, and help ourselves to breakfast (fruit,juice,toast,cereals,tea/coffee).||I hope such hotels can continue to survive; they are so typically Australian, and stick in one's memory more readily than a modern chain.

Great local pub. Our food was enjoyable, good serves. This pub is very much a local hang out every one seemed to know each other.

No fly wires on units, no security. Locals not friendly, are abusive and rude, seems to be a very unruly district. Publican has no respect for your needs as a traveler, is also rude and has ignored my questions and suggestions. My room was not clean, beds uncomfortable, linen is old and dated. I was unable to sleep throughout the night due to outside noises, women and men coming and going throughout the night, wondering what sort an establishment this place was and what they were actually hosting? Hotel service is a disgrace, no milk for coffee was in my room. A very unfriendly place to stay and the township also unfriendly. Some local women were incredibly abusive and rude. Next time I will be staying at the Caravan Park, if I have to come back.
