The decision to sign with The Butler was easy for me as my husband had been with them for a year already and was very happy with all aspects of service.
The staff are client focused and nothing is ever too much trouble for them.
Recently I required a support worker to take me dress shopping. I was a little nervous but I need not have been because she was so lovely and understanding and I had a really fun time.
Although I live out in the community The Butler welcome and encourage clients to participate in social activities at the immaculate and well equipped Clubhouse at The Henry. I find using their gym and having physio in their private consulting room very convenient.
I have no hesitation in recommending The Butler to anyone looking for quality home care services.

My experience with the Butler has been a very positive one. It is always a pleasure to talk with the office staff and case manager because they are all so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
I appreciate the Butler being a family-based business and as I live out in the community, I also wanted a facility I could visit and talk with the staff face to face if required. I therefore value The Clubhouse (at the Henry) where I can drop into the office or use the gym or participate in their wide range of social activities. Having had the same carer coming to my home the whole time who is regular, reliable and capable as well as being kind and thoughtful has been relaxing & stress free.
I have been a client for 12 months and would happily recommend the Butler to anyone looking for a provider.

When we moved to The Henry we were independent and did not require assistance with activities of daily living etc. However, circumstances changed and when we approached Sandra - Vitality Care - for help the required services were arranged promptly and efficiently - having these services available to us has certainly improved our quality and enjoyment of life.
Sandra is always approachable, professional and cheerful - providing suggestions for our care and allowing us to have input into the decision making.

Home Care packages did not initially interest me, as I have always been very independent. However, I am 81 and ‘solo’, and as I have advanced Parkinson’s Disease a downhill slide is inevitable. Neither of my children lives in Canberra and so, not wanting them to feel they have to come running whenever trouble hits me, I ‘took the plunge’.

I am so pleased that I took a package, and that my provider is ‘The Butler’. For me, the excellence of the service it offers is due predominantly to the positive, caring, and supportive attitude of the staff. In heading up ‘The Butler’ Sandra is always accessible and readily approachable, and is efficient, reliable, and flexible, making it is a pleasure to work with her and Malsha, who is extremely helpful untangling computer problems – a major issue which limits many older people. Life is now so much more hassle-free, and importantly, I feel that I have a ‘safety net’ should trouble come my way.
