What a bucket list item.... Kingfisher tours and in particular Bec was AMAZING.... Bec's knowledge and stories made it even better... If it could get any!! What a incredible country we are so lucky to live in.... Seeing rock art dating back 50,000 years just incredible. Worth every cent!

The National Park reopened today after a couple of weeks closed due to HEAVY RAINFALL. Surprisingly, the road wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. Stunning landscape! We did it in 1 day. I would definitely recommend staying 1 night in the park so you have 2 days to see everything without rushing. We purchased our day pass from the visitor centre on our way in.

Great place to visit it was beautiful through the day freezing of a night. The road was rough getting in & a few creek crossing but well worth it.
Must book online if staying in the park & go to the information centre before heading to your campsite.

A place that is kinda impossible to review, you gotta see it for yourself!

First warning, the track in is not for the faint hearted (even when graded) but if you can do that you will be fine. Its over 45kms from the front gate to the Visitors centre, which you have to stop at and check in if you are staying at either campsite (Walardi or Kurrajon). Special mention to Robin who was both super friendly, and helpful on the desk. She will point out where to go and at what time.

Now we visited during a massive heatwave so we decided to hike early and catch sunrises and enjoy the views without the heat. Choose your places to hike according to driving distance to campground and ability (be very sure on ability because some walks are very VERY uneven and can be unsafe during warm weather if not prepared).

Both sites offer a bore water tap and drop dunnies.

If hiking is out of the question, then would recommend booking in a heli tour, the Bungles are even better from a distance.

Have the best time and PACK more water then you think you will need!

Beautiful to visit, however the first 20kms of road in is extremely correlated - tyre pressure down and drive to conditions. We did the South section, the walks are well signed but it is hot so take on board water, hats and time of day to walk.

One of the best national parks that I've been to in all of Australia. Yes the road in is pretty brutal and long, but it is well worth it. I did most of the south end hikes in one day, and a couple of the shorter north end hikes in the afternoon. The campsites were really nice and tidy, the toilets a little smelly but you are out bush. I was pleasantly surprised to find I had Optus reception in the campsites too

Fantastic place to visit. A unique place in the world with a fun drive in and out. We camped at the northern end. Nice, private quiet spot in a great location. The walks are really nice and we'll thought to give you a sense of adventure and highlight some great rock formations.

The corrugation was unbearable, roads were like a roller coaster! Can be too much stress for your 4WD Vehicle defo.
Definitely recommended to not camp inside or towing any caravans/tents as there are several wet creeks and deep puddles, not to mention narrow crossings.
The drive is actually approx 2 hrs but we made it in 3hrs due to mixed terrain…

But overall through out what is offered, it was amazing and worth a visit!!
We did nearly all hikes and the Cathedral was the most beautiful 🙌
