Well worth a stop. Yes it is touristy, but it's also grey nomads like us that come for a pic of the Big Thing and then spend a bit of money that goes back into the local economy. After reading the reviews, we steered clear of the waffles and pancakes and ordered scones instead. Very nice, along with strawberry jam and fresh whipped cream. I would recommend a stop here.

$7.50 for kids to play on the play ground….
If you don’t have socks you can’t play so you need to buy socks and other $5..

Best not to come with kids, hard to tell kids they can’t play on the play ground. Unless you want to spend an extra $12.50 per child then add food.

Crepes are sold as pancakes on the menu but are definitely not pancakes… very very thin and the inside is very soft moist strawberries.
100% pre made but told they are freshly made.
You’re best to go the waffles, much better than the crepes.

Ticked off the to do list but won’t be coming back.

A nice place to stop and stretch your legs with a good array of jams, chutneys ect. However if you are looking for a nice breakfast, keep driving. The pancakes are rubbery crepes and the waffles although looked good, were hard and dry.

These were the best strawberries I have ever tasted.
The strawberry cheesecake we bought was also tasty, although I couldn’t finish it as it was rather sweet. Same is to be said for the milkshakes, which arrived in big metal glasses, and added to the lovely rustic atmosphere of the place, which was set in a large warehouse.

I highly recommend trying the range of jams and spreads available, and there was a robust selection of treats, too.

There is also an area for kids to play, although socks are mandatory.

You can also take a photo with the big strawberry!🍓

We found this 'big thing' quite by accident and decided to stop in for lunch and a look around, after photo opportunities in front of the Strawberry we headed inside the restaurant/Cafe. First impressions were wow! This place is absolutely rocking, the dining area is huge and was packed out, we had a browse through their souvenirs section before ordering lunch. TheIr menu was quite large with breakfast options as well as lunch option, plenty of items for the sweet tooth as well.
Price was not to bad, about what I expected really, service was a little slow because they were so busy at the time, we ended up having to sit outside as there was nothing left inside the restaurant. Food was really nice, I had the Smashed Avo with Strawberrys, the missus had the baked spud and my son wanted Strawberry waffles. Very friendly service with a smile.
A lovely day out and they have am indoor play area for small children and a man cave out the back with auto and motorcycle memorabilia, almost like a small museum.

This was such a nice surprise to encounter! The strawberry is very photo worthy - they’ve done a great job with positioning etc. It’s a dog friendly space which is always a win. We missed the opening hours - 9am to 3pm (and most public holidays) - so I’m not able to comment on the food etc. There was some shaded parking (important in 35+ degree heat) and the shop looks like it has some very cute strawberry themed goods - as ascertained by peering through the doors. I’ll definitely try and stop here next time we’re passing through.

Went to this place for strawberry picking in December 2024. They charged 4$ for my wife and myself as entry fee to pick strawberry's. Gave us a tiny container that would contain just about 250 grams of strawberry's. When we asked for another container, a lady at the counter gave us another one. But when the owner saw this, he was quite rude and said "No, No, No" angrily and took away the second container. Anyway, we picked strawberry's that could fit in that one container. When we took it to the counter to pay for it, the owner then emptied it into a larger container that could hold twice as much. I had also purchased come strawberry wine and liqueur and jams to the tune of about $125. When I opened the strawberry wine at home and tasted it, it was quite acidic and tasted like vinegar. I think the wine had gone off. It cost me $35 and I had to throw it out. Never, ever going back there again. Bad service from the staff and spoilt wine.

Great place for families, young couples and seniors. Food is so well priced and the ice cream is best strawberry I've had and usually think strawberry 🍓 is awful. Quite out of the way but worth dropping in, can understand why people make the trip. Also vintage museum out back extra points.
