Ordered dinner and coffee - the food was good. I think I had a cheeseburger? Though it came with beetroot, carrot, lettuce, tomato etc. I recommend double checking with the staff what Ingredients are on the burgers if you're picky. The burger WAS delicious though!

What was really disappointing was that my iced coffee was tiny (smaller than the hot coffee) and I was charged almost $2 more. Really outrageous if I'm honest. Had there been communication about the available cups or the sizing vs pricing difference I would have chosen to go with a hot coffee instead.

Stopped for brunch on the way to the spa pool. Great view of Hinchinbrook. Nice coffee. Fresh tubs of cut fruit, sandwiches and wraps, tourist gifts, hot box and hot food. Staff were lovely.
We tried the barramundi spring rolls which were interesting!

A must-stop venue with a great menu offering a bounty of choices! 🤩 Service is great; we arrived as a tour bus pulled up...less than 15 minutes, and all of us were catered for! 🚌💨 #Restaurant #Food #Travel #Service #Tour

The meal was low tide, I left hungrier than when I arrived, and my wallet was considerably lighter. Next time, I'll just throw my money directly into the ocean – at least then a fish might get fed.

Great place to stop for a rest or a meal and a nice drink.

Not a gourmet restaurant, but it is good at what it is. Open 24 hours.

Centrally located in Cardwell, right at the Greyhound Bus stop…

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with a large shaded area to get out of the hot spring sun.

For me, it was a good experience.

Oh, and the Crab ? Ha ha ha … one to go with the Big Cassowary at Wongaling Beach 😁😁😁

Expensive, yes at $25 for a 100gm sandwich. Wouldn't mind paying this for a nice sandwich but ours was tasteless. Tasted like the crab had been frozen. Would not recommend at that price for frozen crab. Crab cake was OK but where was the crab.

- Poor service, the poor waitress looked like she just got fired!
- Waited over 10mins and I was the only person in the milk bar.
- Ordered a cheeseburger n it looked like a burger with the lot! I don’t like lettuce, raw onion and tomatoes n that’s why I order cheeseburgers.
When I asked the tall waitress what was my order (maybe they got it wrong) she told me “that’s how a cheese burger is made in Australia”.
How rude!!
Never again!

I have been stopping in this place for the last 5 years. This will be my last!!!
The service is really poor, and the workers are not welcoming at all, especially the ladies behind the food space.
Prices are too high for low quality food
The tables most of the time dirty
My girlfriend asked for a fish sandwich $15.20, but when we got the bill the price was $19.95, when we asked why, the answer was, because of the Salad.
I tried to explain that is not right to add about 30% on a fixed prices sandwich without acknowledging the customer.
They laughed at my face and gave me a white bread sandwich not even tosted

Go up
