Average room, comfortable bed. Can hear the back street noise. Customer service is terrible, not welcoming just given key and told to pay $100 bond. Not given any info like you would at any other place. They have said they approved the $100 bond to be refunded but I haven’t received this back yet and they have stated it’s a bank problem but it’s lies, I stayed in multiple accomodations while in Australia and so far all bonds have been refunded excluding the bond from best western. I had a bad feeling as soon as I entered this accomodations, will never stay here again due to the rip off nature. They have a $100 they owe me and they won’t refund it.

The positive is the location. Handy to walk down into Lygon and close to a lot of good places in walking distance. Quite a vibe. The value for money is all in the location of this hotel, everything else is pretty mediocre.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 whole week. The location is nice, close to the student dorms, sorrounded with streets full of bars and restaurant, very peaceful during the night although is near the Melbourne University. Staff was very friendly and polite, breakfast very good, tried almost everything from their menu, the only downside was that for the coffee we had to pay at checkout, nobody told us about this aspect, but it was fine eventually. Rooms were cleaned everyday, towels changed and everything was done nicely. The pool inside the courtyard was nice, not so big but very good to take a quick refreshing bath, or just relax on the side. Would recommend this for the services you get for that amount of money.

Its central to the legendary Lygon St, The Royal Melbourne Hospital, St Vincents public and prrrrivaaate Hospitals, as well as the museum, Imax and heaps of other things.

The rooms are quiet, and above all CLEAN and comfortable. (As in seriously clean)

Off st parking, easy wheelchair access, elevator access to the car park, brilliant staff and breakfast as well..... oh.. and bring yer cossies, as there is a pool as well.

Outstanding accomodation and service for the price. Also the darkest room we have ever stayed in which made the standard late check out even better. We used the pool and had a drink at the bar but didnt eat at the resturant because there are so many to choose from just around the corner. |Highly recommended.

We stayed here one week and everything was great. The staff is very professional and friendly, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are looking good.
The pool is not very deep so is good for kids too.
The breakfast was delicious, many options and fresh fruits. However the coffee is not included (just the instant one).

Very convenient motel for visiting around the University of Melbourne. |Very easy ~5min walk to the University and tram stop to get to the city, and in between is Lygon Street for all dinner needs! On-site parking was great, and it looks like there's even EV charging available! (I wish I'd known that before I left!!). Reception desk staff were friendly and very helpful.|Rooms are starting to show signs of age, but they are clean and well maintained, and individual room air con worked beautifully. Pool lives up to the pictures!

Wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever stayed but was very disappointing for the price. Alarm went off 3 times in the middle of the night, no apology at all or even mention of this. Tried to charge me 240$ for a breakfast I never ate on check out. Rooms are mediocre for the hotel rating. Wouldn’t stay again. Breakfast staff were lovely though, that’s why I gave an extra star, very nice and accommodating. Couldn’t get out of the hotel parking as they’d taken our license plate off at the moment of check out…. So by the time we were at the car it was already locked. Carpark was excruciatingly small and crappy to pay so much nightly. Location was good though.

First time staying here. I got early checkin when we arrived, was so good as our flight was 6am from Sydney & our event wasn’t until 6pm that night. Room clean. Service was excellent. Shops & market within walking distance as well.
