We had the “Villa”, which was absolutely stunning! As soon as we walked in, we felt like we were in paradise. The staff were super helpful with sorting out our firewood and we had the most amazing stay. The villa was spotless, with everything we needed including a coffee machine, 2 fridges and a large comfy lounge with 180 degree ocean views in front of the fireplace. We had the most relaxing weekend - highly recommend the “Villa” for a more upmarket and luxurious stay at this site. It’s just paradise!

Awesome spot right on the beach, super chill, pet friendly, great for kids. Perfect for a no fuss relaxing barefoot holiday, mix of surf camp and families on holiday. Good waves, good vibes, leave your airs and graces at the door and go with the flow!

Tired Camp ground with so much potential. Cabins double the price of parks with better facilities!!
-Stayed in cabin here for a weekend getaway for a catch up with friends. Prices for a 2 night stay were exorbitant!! Extremely overpriced for what facilities were offered.
As we checked into the cabin, we noticed half of the bed slats were broken and laying on the floor. When we questioned reception, they stated that most of the other cabins were not clean and we could not enter them.
After some time the receptionist came to us and offered for us to change rooms.
Our new room had none of the cooking appliances advertised on the website, the fridge was missing shelves and half of the linen/towels for all our guests. Our cabin did not lock and the entrance deck to it was rotten and dangerous- especially for our friends who had small children.
The bathroom had mushrooms growing out of the floor and the shower had not been cleaned.

The park itself is unkept- with rubbish bins over flowing for the whole 3 days we stayed. The camp kitchen was disgusting with only one working bbq and all cutlery/pots had never been washed. As you cleaned the bbq, the grease trap just flowed onto the internal kitchen floor right where you were cooking and eating- the smell was horrid. The park is full of dongas- metal cabins on cinder blocks and resembled a mine site in the bush. The staff/backpackers were mostly unhelpful and were even vaping in the reception when we arrived. Everything feels grimy and dirty and the road in and around the park is full of potholes and not safe for kids to ride/walk around.
It is dark and dinghy at night and the permanent residents and backpackers blast music and party day and night.

Such a disappointment considering the location is incredible. Don’t get a cabin here- get an air BnB In town and enjoy the nature and scenery.

Booked this place on the looks of the website. Walked in and the place was a dive. Nothing like the pictures online. We booked for one night as we were just passing through, the lady who made the booking charged us for 3 nights after only asking for one. We were unable to get a refund for the two aditional days that we didn't ask for.
We walked around the park for a better look and decided to forfeit our nights stay and money due to the conditions of the place.

We were told we would get a call from the management to discuss the possibility of a refund for the two additional nights, but have yet to hear anything.

We stayed here with 6 families (Children ranging from infants to 11 years of age) for a week and had an incredible time. The location was perfect. We had the creek and beach at our doorstep. The camp sites were beautifully maintained and we felt like we had our own private space. We stayed over New Year’s Eve and the staff put on entertainment for all ages. This included boat races and sand castle competitions for the kids. There were excellent communal spaces. The staff were lovely and the park itself had a great rustic vibe. There was also a surf camp which was part of the park which was a really nice touch and different to other places we have been. Noise levels were always respectable. Short drive to shops and beautiful surrounding beaches. We can’t wait to return next year!

Amazing place. The water was warm as a bath and the view was amazing. The caravan park is rustic, super pet friendly, friendly backpackers about who also work on site, and staff that trust you and leave you alone to enjoy your vacation. The waterfront cabin was clean, comfortable, and perfectly positioned for calm water/bay/sand/beach lovers. What a view! The best I’ve seen. I have really enjoyed my time here. I will be back.

This might be a 5 star for others. Right on the point.. camp next to the river.. open fires..scenery..wildlife.. and surf on the right conditions.. but I found it too isolated for a 9 day stay for a non surfer..long bike ride into town..Woolgoolga.. None of the pubs or clubs permitted dogs outside on leash..when will they start catering for travellers

My partner and our dog Salty stayed over 2024/2025 New Year and had an absolute enjoyable time. This is our 2nd time camping creekside with a powered site. The sites are large and some are shaded with large trees. ||We surfed, swam, beach walked to Corindi each morning, used the SUPS to paddle up the creek and floated in the creek. |||Yes it's true the place is rustic. What does that mean? It means go and enjoy the natural environment around you. If you like concrete prison camp grounds this is not the place for you. Yes there are backpackers at the surf school. We rarely saw them or heard them expect when they went out to surf. Yes the amenities are dated. Perhaps a mop could be place inside the bathrooms so after showering the floors could be mopped. I can't comment on the cabins but from what I saw you can't complain about the view. ||What we love about the place is the location, surfing, fires allowed, beautiful outlook, friendly staff and long term residents that were happy to share their home with us and their mud crabs. ||It's so refreshing to find a place that goes back to the basic and focuses on the nature around them. We will continue to visit and respect this beautiful place.
